Amex mrcc card – reward ratio is 7.5k amazon voucher for 18k points – so not a good deal IMHO

Gold collection conversion ratio is around 42p per pt.
Here it is 38p per pt.
Just be comparing to ‘non-gold’ aka regular conversion rate of 25p per point, they are saying its a good offer by this much margin. But when comparison is done with the best option aka gold collection conversion, then it is not worth going for it.
Conclusion: For most people, who have patience-and intelligence, this does not appear to be that appealing. What say!! 
Edit: Btw, gold collection conversion rate is straight cash credit. This deal conversion rate however is amazon gv, so needs to be adjusted for amazon gv-to-cash going rate conversion ratio assuming a normal person:) Would make it even more of less attractive by 5-10% I would guess!!

loot is a sacred word here at DD pains me to see it being used so loosely nowadays 
Don’t mess with your Bonus MR points. Those are valuable & depends on the card you hold. Redeem regular MR if you want.

No point in using this…u can get statement credit of 10000 in 24000 points
what if they lower the benefit by the time we reach 24k points
For amex platinum travel card these options are not available.
In platinum travel card you can redeem for spicejet voucher@50 paise per points.
Other flight/ hotel viucher@40 paise per points.
So i think this is a good offer for converting points@38 paise per points.
Spicejet is having less option and you can better deals on air ticket from others.

This is only good for gold card or ppl who hold amex but dont transact much and have less points. Otherwise for 18k or 24k points u can have 8k and 12k amazon respectively
AFAIK 11k amz gv redemption option was there for 24k points till wallet KYC rules came
now only 10k statement credit is the option for 24k points.. where u saw 12k amz gv?

This is good for people who have less than 18k points and not eligible for Gold and Silver rewards. The ratio has been increased significantly.
If you are close to 18k or 24k points no point in using this. U can wait and redeem after u reach the 18k or 24k milestone
