Spend couple of thousand extra and one should prefer ryzen 3500u CPU instead of 2500u … Also install 240-250gb SSD starting from ₹2200

Nowadays it is cheaper to buy yourself and add it.
This one has a separate slot for SSD , making the process easier

Is installing SSD easy? My laptop is very slow and thinking of adding it, will I be able to do it myself?

Yes, it’s fairly easy but it depends on where it is located.

dont even try, i tried and failed, there are 12 screws at the back panel, than you have to pull the keyboard and body from panel,
then there are 9 screws on motherboard, and 5-6 thin ables,
remove them properly
then remove mother board,
on reverse side is the ssd m2 slot

i then had to get it done in laptop service shop out side.
i just paid 250 rs. and it took 1 hour, be careful dont do it yourself.

here there are people commenting its easy without even knowing what and how

You are talking about your laptop. Every laptop is not the same, I replaced the HDD of my laptop with SSD in less than 5 minutes. There were just 2 screws and the process was really easy.

@sin2akshay10 Just see where your HDD is located first. If it is easily accessible you can do it yourself. You have a buy an SSD, a connector. Download and run softwares available to clone HDD to SSD and then open laptop and replace HDD with SSD. That’s it.

Yes, depends on your laptop, the position of the m2 slot(if available) etc.

Also note that it is better to get any ssd upgrade done at authorized service centre as you may void the warranty for doing it yourself/at 3rd party shop(for acer this is sure but for asus chances are much less but still better safe than sorry).

Yes you would need to remove the back cover of laptop. Ease of installation varies with model.

Technically yes but warranty wise,no(unless ssd is in empty m2 slot which seems to be true in this case). Also see my above post. Opening back panel of asus is not much complicated but removing(& reconnecting) the keyboard & touchpad flat wire cables is(no matter how many videos you have seen, you will need to do it multiple times to really get a hang of it & of course there is always the risk of you damaging these cables if not very careful every time).

Can we visit service center and ask them to add sdd and ram?
