Can we play HD videos of 9-10 GB ?
one more needed in Pune for 1000 if available.
Please PM me if you have an unused board leftover after removal of HDD. I’d like to dump the NAND and hopefully modify it to get something interesting working in it. This requires multiple boards if I set the board on fire unintentionally
I will
Tell me how much
Anybody want to sale it at Rs 1000 in Pune?
any one in Delhi willing to sell?
Can we use it as a external hard drive for laptop backup
Yes. Buy a case
The HDD had its manufacturing date as October 2015 and accordingly only another 170 days warranty remaining. This scuttled my plans of acquiring another one. OTOT while registering the CS100 in Cannon website it showed that the warranty period had already expired… a day before the date of purchase! Have sent an email, yet to receive any response.
Still available @same price
marked live. thanks
karma to you keep it up
Since so many days this offers come and goes
Use as 1TB EXTERNAL HDD FOR LAPTOP.:-p
@yuypg11866
I don’t know. I’m pretty sure I may fry some boards if I make some mistakes with finding the correct JTAG pin, or extracting the NAND for a chip off. So I’m not willing to spend much on it. Sorry . Especially when people are definitely not going to get any use with the board and is offloading it as garbage.
@nimod
Nothing with the hardware as such. I’m thinking of a way to make it useful. What I can do is dump the firmware, reverse engineer it, see if I can find something which will enable us to erase/load a separate OS. It seems hard because that particular chip seems really to have some secure keys and all. I’m curious. That’s all.
Its a proprietary chip.
In fact the entire device is built using proprietary components, like CPU, the NFC module and Wifi Module.
No specs are available for these components. The CPU is a media processor, so I think decoders are hardwired. No way to upgrade the decoders thats why this device doesn’t have support for most of common formats now.
I have already checked and left the idea.
i would rather use a cheap orange pi.
Bought it for 1000 last year. But of no use till date. Can anybody tell me how to make use of internal hard disk?
