What you said is correct but cashback is applicable as per the category defined and amazon system is an automated system not a manual one. Some coins are categorised under fashion category that’s why the offer is displaying there.
I have purchased a coin where the offer is displayed , if I will get a cashback, I will update here or else I will cancel during transit.

That’s the issue. It’s CB and they can always show you the t&cs and deny it. If it was instant discount then it would have been a loot.

However risk factor not to be factored in:
Citi offer is cb, comes after 90 days, and tnc document in entirety explicitly excludes gold coins. So in case of dispute, the ball is contractually in citi’s court:) Whether this risk materailizes this time or not is more a matter of probability (basis past data/experience which ppl hv quoted)!!
Your logic is right.. That’s why I paid half amount 3500 by amazon pay balance and remaining 3500 by citi to fulfill citi cashback T&C….

I had contacted seller of jeweltale and got reply that his 999 purity gold coin comes with bis hallmark & as per government, bis hallmark is not possible for 999 purity gold coin and all sellers told me same thing.
Seller sent me images of gold coin after my request

The gold coin of 999 purity is having hallmark number printed on regular paper but hallmark sign is not present on gold coin.
Also certificate is printed on regular printing paper.
I have contacted seller again to clear some doubts about hallmark but have not received any reply yet.

Here is an update : I have received 1000 amazon pay cashback on my gold coin. which turn out 6k for 995 gold coin which is good. Hopefully will receive cb in citi card too…
