POINTS EXCHANGE TO EXTRA (Exclusive For HSBC Credit Card)
To club your HSBC Reward Points earned on your HSBC Credit Card with your EXTRA Points, you need to request a transfer of rewards points from your existing HSBC Reward Points balance to your EXTRA Points account.
You can do so by calling HSBC directly using one of the Contact Center Numbers below.
Your HSBC Reward Points earned on your HSBC Credit Card, are converted to EXTRA Points at ratio of 1.5 : 1 For example, if you choose to transfer 7500 HSBC Reward Points this will equate to a credit of 5000 EXTRA Points into your EXTRA Points balance.

Extra points have more value than credit card reward points… with 615 extra points .. you get 500 rs amazon voucher ! worth giving a try of converting the cc points to extra points but do it in one go ! Else you may be charged(don’t really remember) for convertion charges apart from 1.5 :1 !!

If you have hsbc account ..you are eligible for separate extra points(ep) account too !
Here is how you earn them
- NEFT – 25 ep
- FD (of at least 91 or 94 days) – 100 ep(max 300 ep per month through FDs)
- adress change – 500 ep (once in a Quarter)
