Guys if you plan to be in Goa for Christmas and new year…weather wise it’s the best time.. BUT
Frankly if you are an outsider its twice expensive for bus tickets, air tickets, taxi, hotels, food shacks.Police are in hyper mode. Alcohol meters come out, check posts and naka bandi everywhere.
Drinking in public place is now banned in Goa.
Locals get preety upset when their religious celebrations are gate crashed by drunkards.
late night tease a local girl (some idiots after drunk think they are hero) and get ready for entire group to be trashed by local mob.
Outsiders tease outsider girls at tourist places police put them in lockup without questioning.
It’s mostly because of North Indian who think themselves as hero post drinking
