My thoughts…. Don’t… Gone are these days.. Of 300mbps… They aren’t actually 300mbps support.. It goes to max 40-50… These days we are getting 100mbps net at good prices & soon will be more cheaper..!
Good for 500…its OOS.. Not worth spending 1k on this

Why would you even buy this crap now? It has only 2.4 GHZ frequency which will not give you top speed in case you have fibernet broadband. In just next 6 months, I don’t see if anyone will be even selling these routers.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks

I just hope our dimers read comments and ignore to buy these crap. MI flash sale also didn’t work with Mi box that they launched with so much hype. People are smart now than before. Flash sales can’t fool us

I agree
2.4ghz router is useless if you’ve a high speed internet connection
I only get about 20-40% of my fibernet (100 Mbps) speed via 2.4ghz (Full speed with 5ghz but low range is a con)

It’s 300mbps for all combined of the connected devices. You are getting 40-50 mbps (max 72mbps) because on mobiles as you have only one antenna in the device. Some good laptops have double antenna and they can get upto 150mbps.

If you need more speed than that then you need to buy 5Ghz supporting wifi. But then these have half as much range as 2.5 Ghz wifi. 5Ghz can’t cover a big house.

I have been using 3C from couple of years now. It’s extremely easy to configure. They have app for it as well. You can do many advance things like QOS etc. It can be configured by any tech newbie. I have experience with dd-wrt as well and I’m not missing anything with simple interface of this router.

It can be used as repeater (wired and wireless both supported). My current unit is connected to our 100mbps internet, a wire goes out from this router to neighbours house who is also using this same router.

Range is very good compared to other 2 antenna routers. Earlier I had tp link and d link dual antenna routers and the range is much better compared to them.

Edit: I get 51 mbps speed on my phone. I can stream 4k netflix on all connected devices at the same time. What more 5Ghz is going to bring to the table?

Exactly but you must get a router with both frequency 2.4GHZ , 5 GHZ . In the current age, we want a fast internet and not just internet.

True that…OKish for old users having router already..coz then u r using half of the plan u opted for….u might wanna switch to 50mbps…. If someone is buying new router why should they even limit to a speed restriction…considering “couple of years” of usage
