good offers…but hardly any cabs available most of the times….they used to be so good.

Booked for my brother last week. I feel the 25% cashback with Freecharge works only with Exactometer. And Exactometer charges were a little higher.

So booked normal Meru in a hurry. Bro took the cab.

From city to Bangalore airport, this is good. For 45 KM, it cost 650ish. This was after 150 discount for first time. Better than Ola that took 900+ last time. (@DealSeeker)

From airport to city though, you can take Uber at flat Rs. 549. Or Ola at flat 379. Tired both. Uber was way cheaper as I tagged along with a friend and then he sweet talked the driver to drop us both at no additional charge.

However, I also booked Ola 379 as it seemed to good to be true. Was ready for 1000+ charges. Fortunately, for up to 50 KM, they take 379 + toll charges (120). And no ride time is counted. It took my brother almost 3 hours to reach home. After 50 KM, they charge you 10 rs per KM I believe.

Anyway, final was 540 something. Just sharing with my fellow Bangaloreans! Only we know the pain of paying more money to the cabs than to the flight tickets.
