Previous rumours and leaked images suggest that realme will launch a 43-inch Android TV in India with support for NetFlix out-of-the-box. On the other hand, the ‘realme watch’ will feature a square display with rounded corners that houses a 1.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×320. It will feature a single button on the right side and the wrist bands appear to be non-replaceable. The charging pins are said to be on the backside and is said to charge a 160mAh battery that supposedly will last for 7 days with continuous heart rate monitoring. Furthermore, it is said to be IP68 water-resistant and will connect via Bluetooth 5.0. Other sensors include an acceleration sensor and a blood oxygen sensor but no inbuilt GPS.

Bro it is like beta testing for them
Example: if they have new technology first they use in vivo, oppo, realme then after testing if the technology is 100% functional then they use on OnePlus device.

I always felt..OnePlus is least priority brand of all BBK’s subsidiaries or may be it is an independant entity (?) even though it is Oppo that manufactures OnePlus phones here in India (Delhi unit)

  1. Oppo/Vivo
    Target Audience : Offline buyers
  2. Realme
Target Audience : Online buyers (EX-Xiaomi/Honor users)
  3. OnePlus
Target Audience : Online buyers (Flagship/Premium mobile users)

And yeah..they always try new tech on Vivo/Oppo and then OnePlus/Realme

Isn’t it obvious?. Realme, vivo, oppo are cheap compared to OnePlus. But if you compare these 4 mobiles (with same specs) OnePlus will definitely outperform them

OnePlus is their premium brand. I don’t know whether OnePlus is priority brand for BBK or not but they have to make sure that the phone they are manufacturing does not let user down

Yes your right… Realme target the xioami user… I believe Xiaomi only prioritise there branding instead of buggy MiUI … Instead if they provide the stock android …..then many users will get satisfied withthe hardware they are placing in the particular price range …

It’s hard to say that … I know Many people don’t like stock…. But if they love MiUI it should be beast like stock on the latest hardware…

I my self feels like victim of MiUI …. A good hardware is being destroyed by the MiUI and sad part is that Xiaomi is doing nothing about it…

Here realme is doing good… Atleast their phone is giving good performance… I know their UI is not at all exciting even worse than Xiaomi but it does not hang ….nor even freeze..less heating problem… Buttery smooth operations… Etc…

They earn so much money from MIUI ads, because of which they are able to offer phones in lesser profit margin.
If they provide stock android, their phone prices would go very high.

Color OS is even more RAM hungry than MIUI
