I suggest those who make large transactions to keep proper books of accounts. Simple accounting in good old Tally should do the job. That way, complete financial trail is available and can be explained to the IT Dept if required.
Only income can be taxed. Not expenditure. Cashbacks are reduction in expenditure, not income. As long as net expenditure (after cashback) can be explained out of net income, the inter account transfers are treated as non-income transactions. However, proper transaction trail is required to prove that they are mere rotation of money.

Did anybody received Cashback for the transactions did on Dec 8,has it been processed or pending
