Terms and Conditions for Accelerated Rewards Offer
on Standard Chartered Cards using Samsung Pay at
Fuel stations

1. Definitions
i. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
ii. Offer: The Offer means “Get 10x additional reward points on Samsung Pay transactions made
using StanChart Credit and Debit Cards at fuel stations during the offer period”
iii. Offer Period: Offer valid 21st Aug – 31st August 2017
iv. Qualified Customer: The Offer is applicable to all Samsung Pay transactions made using
Standard Chartered credit/debit cards.
v. Debit card holders can earn a maximum of 500 rewards per card during the offer period
vi. Credit card holders can earn a maximum of 500 reward points per card during the offer period
vii. Non Eligibility: NRE Account Holders, Cash Back Platinum Rewards Debit cards, NRO account
holders, Emirates World Credit card holders and Landmark Rewards Platinum Credit
Card holders.
2. Offer Details
i. To be eligible for the offer customer has to transact using Samsung Pay by linking his/her
Standard Chartered Credit/Debit Card at fuel stations during the offer period
ii. Qualified customer will need to do a transaction at “fuel stations” between 21st Aug – 31st
August 2017
iii. The “Fuel Stations” category is defined as per the classification of each merchant establishment
as defined by Visa/Mastercard
iv. Earn 10x additional reward points on every INR 150 spent on Samsung Pay transactions made
using Standard Chartered Credit cards to a maximum of 500 reward points per card
Example: A customer owning a StanChart Manhattan Credit card transacts for INR 6,000 using
Samsung Pay during the offer period would accumulate 400 reward points as per the offer.
Calculation of reward points: 6000/150*10= 400 reward points
v. Earn 10x additional reward point on every INR 100 spent on Samsung Pay transactions made
using Standard Chartered Debit cards to a maximum of 500 points per card
Example: A customer owning a StanChart Priority Visa Infinite debit card transacts for INR 5000
using Samsung Pay during the offer period would accumulate 500 reward points.
Calculation of reward point: 5000/100*10= 500 reward points
Accumulated rewards will get posted into the customer’s account in the below mentioned period.
• Accelerated reward point will be credited to customer’s account for the transactions done during
the offer period by 31st October
