Does anyone have an idea on the warranty for this model.
The last thing I want is a 1 year warranty for a 4TB disk.

From my understanding, the 4TB’s have a higher failure rate. Not sure where I read it but have it as a mental note till im proven wrong / update my understanding.

Do note that now Hitachi does NOT make/own the drives and in-fact the drive business had been palmed off (WD, Toshiba) and HGST (as they like to call themselves) is the new entity now. So do not rely on branding of Hitachi, it might well be a WD or a Toshiba (depending on form factor).

Lol. Yep you are right 5400RPM are a lot more solid vs 7200RPM. I use 4×1TB on Raid 1 for NAS. No Segates are horrible.
