If you already have normal home Invertor 850VA & 150Ah battery then buy 150watt 2 solar panels, solar charge controller & Solar PV module Extension Wire.

otherwise buy new solar Invertor & solar battery also.

Buy new solar Invertor & solar battery and buy 1KW solar panels.
1KW solar panels run everything in your home Lights, fans, fridge, washing machine, laptop, 0.5 HP water pump (except 1HP water pump & AC).

Go for Monocrystalline solar panels. Monocrystalline solar panels produce 10–25% of their typical output on a cloudy day.

I had done lots of research last year about this and dropped the plan as it was in no way cost effective. Surely it would help the environment but for me it was not cost effective so dropped the idea altogether. Started with a plan to just get 2 panels for the needs of my PC setup (it’s a fairly extensive setup with multiple monitors, multiple systems) and even went to extent of researching about installing a 3KW setup (with subsidy and such). But in no way it was cost effective for me as I wanted it to earn for itself at least in a few years. Maybe if someone thinks the capital investment was disposable income sure it might work for them.

wait for few more years, 5 to 7 years.

year 2025 you will get cheaper solar panels.

its also depend on your electricity bill, if your electricity bill is costly then 101% solar panels is cost effective.

On-grid solar panels also cost effective and you get approx 20 years profit.

Off-grid solar panels is currently expensive.
