everything was inact except that importer tag… But completely looks like original.. So i just opened it as i will never get this for 1200 anytime..

I used it with my Sony xperia Z2.. Working perfectly fine.. Sound quality is good.. Not the best.. But good.. could attend calls, increase sound, change songs, stop, play music etc.. when i switched on, it automatically pairs.. So no need any installation or any stuff..

Tried with my sony Neo V.. working fine with that too.. Didnt try with lap or Iphone..

warranty will be 6 months if its applicable.. i would wonder Sony devices shows mistake in 6 months time.. so ignoring that importer tag..

no I didn’t open the pack and already marked for return. Its better to get original with some little higher little price, Decided to buy from amazon on Diwali time with my gift card.
most important thing you cant claim warranty for this imported item. so stay away dimers..

got them today, original products. got purchase invoices. worth every penny spend. will check battery life and reply.

I opened the pack and checked it too. I am certain it is a genuine product but not backed by Sony India Warranty. The sound quality is good and the build quality excellent. I have decided to keep it as I don’t expect to claim any warranty benefits and it seems worth the price. I will pull them (PayTM / Bluetech) up in case it fails and they don’t honour the stated “Warranty” terms.

What have they stated? No warranty mentioned on their page.

I posted this “assuming” that it would be covered by Sony India warranty. That was a mistake, indeed.

BTW, I asked my friend (bought this for him actually) if it’s ok even when it has no warranty. He said it doesn’t matter as long as it’s original. He’s a lover of sony products and so he says he would not need warranty for a sony item. None of his sony gadgets/systems ever malfuntioned in their period of warranty. He has an LCD TV, home theatre, two mobiles and now this bluetooth headset, all from Sony.

As long its original sony product, you should not worry. I am using sony MW600 (have 2 units in family) imported model bought from ebay without warranty and they are working great. Just check price of this product with warranty in market and if there is considerably difference, get it, assuming you are happy with performance and features of the product.

I am planning to get 3 units of this for remaining 3 members of my family. Would like more reviews about its sound quality and battery life. MW600 has its price jackup too much otherwise that one is one of the best model IMO.

invoice is proper with vat etc. so if product is officially sold then i am sure that sony has to honor warranty.

He said Sony India Warranty is definitely applicable on this item. When I asked him about the Sweden address on the box, he said: “You just take the bill along with the item. Why do they need the box?”

Very happy that posting the deal was not a waste of time and energy, after all.

S…correct 2 phones can be connected.

Used for a week now:

• Yes they work flawlessly with windows 7 laptop, with all music players

• Sound of earphone is a bit low, but due to nice noise isolation, no need to worry.

• And after four days of normal use the music next/previous keys stopped working. I don’t know what happened, would check it on other friends phone.
