Try entering a lesser amount on the premium payment page of icici site. If it does not allow you, your policy may have specific restrictions

OK, my premium was 10001. I first tried paying on Komparify website with Amazon pay, but it allows premiums upto 9999 only.

Komparify is the only site which allows insurance premium payment by Amazon balance, though the service has been very erratic in the past. You can buy amazon gift vouchers @ 10% or more discount during special offers, from various sites such as zingoy, grabon, magicpin, snapdeal/woohoo etc . load your amazon account with these gift cards. Then pay insurance premium or electricity bills, getting an effective 10% discount

What if payment fails ? Do we get those back in recharge points in komparify or refunded in amazon pay.

You get refund in Komparify as recharge points. In fact you can use this trick to add recharge points from multiple amazon accounts, by doing failed recharge transactions. Later use recharge points together to pay a single insurance premium.

In case it keeps failing, you have to request for refund to source by email. Then amount is credited to Amazon manually by Komparify

Payzapp scan and pay is not reliable, at least not used to be when a couple of my payments failed and money was charged on my cards. One of transaction got reversed on my card after a year after a lot of follow-ups and other I had to forget I made payment.

Yes you are right, did not know last year about justdial.com allowing amazon pay for insurance premium payments.

However this year Payzapp offer is more attractive with scan pay 10% plus 4 transactions offer.

Amazon pay cashback on justdial of 5% is limited to Rs. 50. Here I cannot split the payment into multiple transactions.

But Justdial offer may be good for those having premium payments less than Rs. 10000, who cannot split their premium even on ICICI site.

Further most insurance companies are listed on Justdial, while only two are listed on Komparify @suman1520

Does just dial charges any technology fee or commission for paying insurance premium as komparify charges 2 %?
