Tata Sky MDU Try and Buy offer - FREE Trial for one month

OFFER

1. Tata Sky Limited (‘Tata Sky’) is offering a MDU Try and Buy offer (‘Offer’) to new customers residing at selected Multi Dwelling Unit buildings (‘MDU(s)’), decided by Tata Sky, in the Territory (defined below), (‘Eligible Subscriber(s)’).
2. Territory shall mean the following cities:
   
   
   
   1. Delhi
   2. Noida
   3. Ahmedabad
   4. Bangalore
   5. Pune
   6. Mumbai
   7. Chennai
   8. Hyderabad
   9. Kolkata
   10. Coimbatore
   11. Kochi
   12. Nagpur
   13. Rajkot
   14. Surat
   15. Vadodara
3. The Offer shall be valid from 9th May 2020 till 8th July 2020 (‘Offer Period’), subject to Lockdown restrictions due to Covid 19 being lifted by the relevant authorities. Installation will only be done in selected MDU building situated in green zones, where DTH operations are permitted under applicable laws. Installation Requests may take longer than normal to process.
4. Under this Offer, an Eligible Subscriber, can avail the following benefits, on a trial basis, for a period of one (1) month from the date of activation of the DTH Connection (‘Trial Period’):
   
   
   
   1. Tata Sky HD Zapper Set Top Box (‘STB’) under Non ODU Model, (provided on rental model), Digi Card (Viewing Card), remote control, cable wires, connectors and other accessories; and
   2. One (1) month curated subscription pack of Premium Sports English HD (‘Offer Pack’).
5. Tata Sky HD Zapper Set Top Box (‘STB’) under Non ODU Model, (provided on rental model), Digi Card (Viewing Card), remote control, cable wires, connectors and other accessories; and
6. One (1) month curated subscription pack of Premium Sports English HD (‘Offer Pack’).
7. Eligible Subscriber shall not be provided ODU /Outdoor Unit comprising of dish antenna and Low Noise Block Converter and those would be common for the MDU Building.
8. The Offer covers the cost of STB, Installation Fee, Activation Fee, and payment towards the Offer Pack including Network Capacity Fees. Other than the inclusions stated herein, all other payments due to Tata Sky, will be payable by the Eligible Subscriber.
9. For avoidance of doubt, Eligible Subscriber will be availing the DTH Connection under the CPE Rental Scheme and this Offer will cover the cost towards availing the DTH Connection subject to payment of Total Recharge Amount by the Eligible Subscriber as per clause 10 below.
10. On completion of the Trial Period, Eligible Subscriber can choose to either discontinue the Service by returning the DTH Connection or continue with the Service.
11. On Day 25 from the date of activation of the DTH Connection, an authorized representative of Tata Sky will contact the Eligible Subscriber, either via call or SMS, to enquire if the Eligible Subscriber wishes to continue with the DTH Connection.
12. In the event the Eligible Subscriber wishes to continue with the DTH Connection,  then based on the total recharge made in his/her balance from the day of activation, until Day 40 from the date of activation (‘Total Recharge Amount’), Eligible Subscriber will be required to pay the below mentioned cost toward availing the Connection:

    1. Based on the Total Recharge Amount the Cost of Availing the DTH Connection shall be decided;
    2. The cost for availing the DTH Connection, as provided in the table above, shall be automatically deducted from the Account Balance of the Eligible Subscriber;
    3. If an Eligible Subscriber’s Total Recharge Amount is below Rs. 1500 then DTH Connection will be suspended and the Eligible Subscriber shall be required to return the DTH Connection to Tata Sky immediately and may initiate a refund of such balance thereafter;
    4. If an Eligible Subscriber’s Total Recharge Amount is Rs. 1501 or above, upto Rs. 2499 then the cost of availing the DTH Connection shall be Rs. 1500/- which shall be debited from the Account Balance;
    5. If an Eligible Subscriber’s Total Recharge Amount is Rs. 2500 or above on, upto Rs. 6000 then the cost of availing the DTH Connection shall be Rs. 1500/- which shall be debited from the Account Balance;
    6. If an Eligible Subscriber’s Total Recharge Amount is above Rs. 6000 then the Eligible Customer shall not be required to pay for the cost of availing the DTH Connection;
    7. Eligible Subscriber acknowledges and agrees that if they continue with the DTH Connection post the Trial Period then their DTH Account shall automatically continue with the Offer Pack and a monthly subscription fee, as applicable ,of towards Premium Sports English HD pack shall be deducted from their DTH Account on a daily burn rate (‘DBR’) basis, unless otherwise chosen by the Eligible Subscriber after the Trial Period.
13. In the event an Eligible Subscriber does not wish to continue with the DTH Connection, the Eligible Subscriber will inform the authorized representative of Tata Sky, thereafter an authorized representative of Tata Sky will visit the Eligible Subscriber’s premises and collect the CPE delivered during the installation process of the DTH Connection, including but not limited to STB, Digit Card, Remote, cables, connectors and accessories (‘Materials’) which were offered to the Eligible Subscriber(s) under the Offer.
14. If by Day 45 the Materials are not recovered from the Eligible Subscriber then Tata Sky will, at its sole discretion, blacklist such Eligible Subscriber.
15. If the Eligible Subscriber has availed and activated any other Tata Sky pack in addition to the Offer Pack during the Offer Period then the Eligible Subscriber shall be additionally charged for it and such charges will be deducted from Eligible Subscriber’s Account Balance, and the same shall not be refunded if the Eligible Subscriber does not wish to continue with the DTH Connection. In case the Eligible Subscriber returns a damaged STB the Eligible Subscriber shall be charged for the same.
16. In the event, an Eligible Subscriber has not communicated their wish to continue with their DTH Connection or are unreachable either via call or SMS, then such Eligible Subscriber’s account shall be deactivated on the completion of the Trial Period.
