1. PREAMBLE
Tata Sky Limited (‘Tata Sky’) is offering a Try and Buy offer (‘Offer’) to all its new customers and/or new subscribers. Under this Offer a customer by paying Rs.2,500/- to Tata Sky as security deposit (‘Security Deposit’) will be entitled to get a new Tata Sky connection (SD/HD zapper) (‘DTH Connection’) with all HD and SD channels, available as per the box selected by the customer, along with all services (excluding Karaoke and Showcase) of ultra base pack and all regional channels free for trial basis for a period of 1 month from the date of activation. Post 1 month from the activation, the customer can choose to either return the DTH Connection to Tata Sky or to continue with the DTH Connection by choosing any base packs of his or her choice.
2. OFFER
2.1 This Offer can be availed by any person within the territory limits of India, in accordance with the rules and regulations contained herein or amended and/or altered from time to time (‘Eligible Subscriber(s)’)
2.2 The Offer shall be valid from 1st October , 2018 to 10 th October , 2018 (Duration Period).2.3 To avail this Offer, the customers must subscribe to the Offer by using any of the following methods: (a) Missed Call: By giving a missed call to the number applicable as per their territory • 84609 84609: Try & Buy Offer – ROI • 92704 92704: Try & Buy Offer – Tamil • 92491 92491: Try & Buy Offer – Telugu • 92882 92882: Try & Buy Offer – Kannada (b) Authorised Dealers: By reaching or walking up to any dealer authorized by Tata Sky.

2.4 Prior to the completion of 1 month as mentioned above, an authorized representative of Tata Sky will contact the Eligible Subscriber(s) to enquire if the Eligible Subscriber(s) wishes to continue with the DTH Connection. In the event the Eligible Subscriber(s) wishes to continue with the DTH Connection, the Eligible Subscriber(s) will accordingly inform the authorized representative of Tata Sky and will continue with the DTH Connection by subscribing to any of the base packs available. The Security Deposit paid by the Eligible Subscriber(s) against the DTH Connection (Rs. 2,200/- for HD Zapper and Rs. 2000/- for SD) will be adjusted as activation fee and the balance of Rs.500 in case of SD and Rs.300 in case of HD Zapper will get credited to the account of the Eligible Subscriber(s) for utilization.
2.5 In the event the Eligible Subscriber(s) does not wish to continue with the DTH Connection, the Eligible Subscriber(s) will inform the authorized representative of Tata Sky and Tata Sky will instruct its representative to visit the Eligible Subscriber(s) premises and collect the materials delivered during the installation process of the DTH Connection, including but not limited to STB, Dish and Remote, cables and adapters (‘Materials’) which were offered to the Eligible Subscriber(s) under the Offer. Tata Sky, will thereafter initiate the refund process of the Security Deposit and shall for that purpose collect the bank account details, mobile number of the Eligible Subscriber(s) for transferring the Security Deposit by RTGS. If the Eligible Subscriber consumes any excess material in addition to the standard kit provided the Eligible Subscriber shall be additionally charged for it and the same shall not be refunded if the Eligible Subscriber does not wish to continue with the DTH connection. In case the Eligible Subscriber returns a damaged product the Eligible Subscriber shall be charged for the same. In the event, the Eligible Subscriber(s) wishes the Security Deposit to be refunded by a Demand Draft, the same needs to be communicated by the Eligible Subscriber(s) in advance to Tata Sky. Within 48 hours after collecting the Materials, the refund of the Security Deposit shall be processed.
