Hi Guys,
- While we understand there is slight aberration from the rules here – where the main thread was promoted – we felt certain brands come at high discounts rarely and deserved to be FPD’s on their own.
- In Paytm/mall deals we mostly promote individual deals with the same coupon code – if they are good deals
- In the past we have seen users sharing individual threads from the same main offer – and getting FPD’s – hence we applied the same understanding here…
- Due to these reasons – we felt it will be best for a lot of community users to promote certain good brands with topics that got good hotness to become front page deals.
Edit – this doesn’t take away from the fact – that the main thread will always be promoted in such cases.
