1. What is the HDFC Bank Debit Card and Credit Cards Offer (“Offer”)?
(a) Shop on Amazon.in using your HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card to avail 10% cashback with HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card up to a maximum of Rs.1,750
The cashback amount will be credited to the eligible Cardholder’s primary account to which the HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card is linked by December 24, 2017.

2. How can I avail this offer?

3. When will I get the cash back?
The applicable cash back under this Offer will be credited to the eligible customer’s Bank account linked with HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card latest by December 24, 2017.

4. What is the minimum transaction size for the cashback for the duration of the event?
The minimum transaction amount to avail cash back is Rs. 5,000 in a single transaction on Amazon.in, net of refunds and cancellations. Your HDFC Bank Debit or Credit Card should be charged for a minimum amount of Rs. 5000.

5. What is the maximum cash back that I can avail?
The maximum cash back per card is Rs. 1,750 across Site and App during the Offer Period. Add-on cards linked to the same account will be considered as one card.

6. Is cash back under this Offer applicable on credit and debit cards?
Yes, the cashback is available on both, HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card.

7. Can I avail cash back on credit card on EMI?
Yes, the cash back under this Offer is also applicable on EMI availed on HDFC Bank Credit Cards.

8. Can I avail cash back on card payment for cash on delivery orders? Are net Banking transactions also included in this Offer?
Yes, the cash back under this Offer is also applicable on card payment (only through HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card) made for cash on delivery orders placed during the Offer Period i.e. customers who have chosen the option of cash-on-delivery while placing an order and chose to use HDFC Bank Debit Card or Credit Card for payment on delivery of the order. If the cashback in Amazon Pay balance has been credited to your account, it will not be cancelled if you return the product. When you return the product, the remaining value net of the cashback amount will be refunded to you based on the payment method. Please note that if the product is refused at delivery, for a prepaid order, this would be considered similar to a return.

Q7: What happens if I changed my mind and cancelled the order for the product with cashback in Amazon Pay balance?
If the product has not been shipped and the order is cancelled prior to the issuance of the credit, the cashback will not be issued and the full value of the product will be refunded to you.
If the product is shipped and the order is cancelled post shipment, the cashback in Amazon Pay balance credited to the customer’s account will not be cancelled and the refund amount to the customer will be net of the cashback value.
For example, if you buy an item worth Rs.10,000 and receive a cashback of Rs. 2000 in the form of Amazon Pay balance and you cancel the order post shipment, you will be entitled to receive only Rs. 8000 as your refund amount. The Amazon Pay balance credited to your account will not be cancelled. Rs. 8000 will be credited to the original payment instrument used during the order.
