i too think its overpriced but i still went ahead because of several reasons. i have been loyal to my note 2 for almost 4 years and was looking for a phone with something different. Dual cams on this one got me excited and i had been waiting for H8 for around 3 months.

its has 2 years warranty for device and accessories and 3 months for damage to the screen.

huaewi is the 33rd largest manufacturer of phones currently and they have planned to open over 60 exclusive service centers in india in 2017 as a part of their in India initiative and i hope it would mean better after sales service. They also have a pick up service for warranty.

EMUI though still in nascent stage has some really useful features. Smart control via the fingerprint sensor, knuckle gestures to name a few.

I know this was not my best thought out purchase. I just wanted to give huaewi a go and see how it is.

Well said, this is not even close to OP3 except the price.

To be fair to them Honor 8 has a wow camera !!! Purely in terms of cam it beats any device out there currently !! However as rightly pointed the emotion UI is not upto the mark with latest design standards.

And one more thing thing to add is the build !!!
