Xiaomi products are not of low quality, if compare their products with other products in give prize range they are always better, not like other bakwas companies like oppo vivo gionee, Xiaomi is really a good in terms “more than value for money”… I am not fanboy, but their products really makes me to think about being a fan

there is no speaker in tv, sound bar is speaker. they will include the sound bar.
At mi india spec shows only 2×8 w speakers but sound bar contains 10 speaker

Yes I think so because many Youtubers said apks can be installed like YouTube , amazon prime also play store will be available after updates.

My concerns
1. This TV is “4k supported” ??
that means we need a decent 4K player ??
2. No Netflix ( we cant sideload Netflix it wont work)
3. refresh rate 60 ??
I saw Sony high end TV gives very high rate
4. Dolby vision is future men, this TV comes with hdr10
1. That’s really a dumb question bro. It clearly says 4k. U can connect laptop with HDMI to watch any content or create a Network hub in your home to stream movies on local network. U don’t need 4k player to watch 4k content.
2. They are in process of making deal with Netflix. If they wont, I’m more than happy to use my Firestick.
3. Yes, it’s capable of 4k at 60Hz…no company provides 4k@60hz in this price range or even double. Yes- few LG and Sony offer 120hz panels but they are 2-3 times the cost. TV is capable to decode 4k video at 60fps because flagship Amlogic processor. I hope u know about the crappy processors big brands offer in 2 lakhs +tv also.
4. NOOOO- Dolby Vision is not the future. It’s very hard to come in mainstream because Dolby license is costly. Manu Jain(Xiaomi) told- they may send an update in future for Dollby Vision support if Mi TV turns successful in India garnering profits. So that they can invest money in license of Dolby
Just for 4K HDR display only its more than value for money.. Y U guys are crying for netflix amazon prime, u can install apk file from usb, even if u cant install from usb its not big deal….u can get 4k android tv box for aprox Rs.3-4K and can install amazon prime, netfilx(i have alfawise h96pro+ supports prime netfilx all)….

My dad need new TV but he cant handle android box and this TV wont let you install youtube app and youtube will be web version.
Buying TV is a big decision and I wont be changing it for atleast 5 to 10 years
Last TV I bought in 2008 and now in 2018 we are planning to change, old one was Sony ( 32")

What I am saying is its way better than local Indian brands like micromax, Intex, cloudwalker and many more….they are looting or cheating innocent Indian people by selling 3Rd class products for more money, even though Xiaomi is Chinese company at they are providing more than value for money products…
People are crying we can’t Install Netflix in this. First question should be how much do we watch from Netflix or how many of us are using paid version. Downloading from torrents and then crying about Netflix

I think few people are just hurt because they bought thick heavy TV of 3rd grade brands like VU/TCL which hosts crappy panels at same cost or bought Samsung/LG 4k TV which don’t have HDR and spent 1 lakh+

In Flipkart there is extended warranty of 2 years for 3,500 but I couldn’t find anything about extended warranty in Mi store. And which delivery is safe Flipkart or Mi.

I would recommend Flipkart. Mi uses Bluedart as their preferred logistics partner. Though Bluedart is good Flipkart delivery will be fast.
Will it go OOS within seconds or can I be able to grab one using Jio internet (30mbps)? Also will there be 0 percent EMI available?
