One day, a very wealthy man was walking on the road. Along the way, he saw a
beggar on the sidewalk.

The rich man looks kindly on the beggar and asked, "How did you become a beggar?

The beggar said, "Sir, I’ve been applying for a job for a year now but haven’t found any.
You look like a rich man.

Sir, if you’ll give me a job, I’ll stop begging."

The rich man smiled and said, "I want to help you. But I won’t give you a job.
I’ll do something better.

I want you to be my business partner. Let’s start a business together.

The beggar blinked hard. He didn’t understand what the older man was saying.
“What do you mean, Sir?

“I own a rice plantation. You could sell my rice in the market. I’ll provide you the sacks of rice.

I’ll pay the rent for the market stall..

All you’ll have to do is sell my rice. And at the end of the month, as Business Partners,
we’ll share in the profits.

Tears of joy rolled down his cheeks. “Oh Sir,” he said, "you’re a gift from Heaven. You’re the answer to my prayers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He then paused and said, Sir, how will we divide the profits?

Do I keep 10% and you get the 90%? Do I keep 5% and you get the 95%? I’ll be happy with any arrangement.

The rich man shook his head and chuckled. "No, I want you to give me the 10%. And you keep the 90%.

For a moment, the beggar couldn’t speak. When he tried to speak, it was gibberish. Uh, gee, uh, wow, I mean, huh?

He couldn’t believe his ears. The deal was too preposterous.

The rich man laughed more loudly. He explained, I don’t need the money, my friend.

I’m already wealthy beyond what you can ever imagine.

I want you to give me 10% of your profits so you grow in gratitude

The beggar knelt down before his benefactor and said, Yes Sir, I will do as you say.

Even now, I’m so grateful for what you’ve done for me!

And so that was what happened. He forgets where the blessings came from.

Each day, the beggar now dressed a little bit better operated a store selling rice in the market.
He worked very hard.

He woke up early in the morning and slept late at night. And sales were brisk, also because
the rice was of good quality.

And after 30 days, the profits were astounding.

At the end of the month, as the ex-beggar was counting the money, and liking very much
the feeling of money in his hands, an idea grew in his mind.

He told himself, Gee, why should I give 10% to my Business Partner? I didn’t see him
the whole month!

I was the one who was working day and night for this business. I did all this work!
I deserve the 100% profits!

A few minutes later, the rich man was knocking on the door to collect his 10% of the profits.

The ex-beggar opened the door and said, "You don’t deserve the 10%. I worked hard for this.

I deserve all of it!" And he slammed the door.

If you were his Business Partner, how would you feel?

Friend, this is exactly what happens to us

God is Our Business Partner.

God gave us life-every single moment, every single breath, every single second.
God gave us talents-ability to talk, to create, to earn money God gave us a body-eyes,
ears, mouth, hands, feet, heart. God gave us mind- imagination, emotions, reasoning, language.
So do we need to give back Our Business Partner something in return?

Who is the beggar?
-———————————————

The God has given much and life to do something good to the society , nation and for mankind, isn’t it ?
should we owe it forever or give it back ?

A beggar entered into a foreign country (island) where he was resting under a tree. The people of the island were looking for a person to be their king. The priests in the island arranged for an elephant in the temple to carry a garland and whoever is garlanded by the elephant would be the king. The elephant chose the beggar and garlanded him and he became the king. He was quiet happy to see the opulent palaces with all arrangements for nice arrangements and everyone at his beck and call. At that time an old man came to him and said, "See young man, the rule of this island is that you can be the king here only for 5 years. After this, the people will send you to an unmanned island which is far from here. This same fate happened to all kings who were selected before you.

So all of the enjoyment you have here is temporary." The king became shocked and enquired,“What happened to those kings who were sent to that island?”. The old man replied, “There is lot of wild animals in that island. So they might have killed them. Same will be your fate after 5 years.” The king was scared and asked the old man what to do. The old man said, “Please rule the kingdom to the best of your ability and at the same time start doing developments in that island where you will be sent after 5 years. In these 5 years the people will listen to you and carry out whatever you say. Please utilize it. Ensure that the island is a perfect place to live by that time. I instructed the same thing to the previous kings. No one listened to me and they wailed away the 5 years enjoying the kingly life. At least you don’t repeat that mistake.” The king took this instruction seriously and he first sent a batch of soldiers to clear out the forest area and fence it. Then in the second year he sent workers to the island to construct a beautiful township with all facilities. Then in the next year he sent farmers to create fields and growing crops. In the next year he sent a good number of people to live there. In this way he was making constant developments in the unmanned island. As expected, the people expelled the king and send him to the unmanned island. But by this time, the island was a beautiful township and many people were waiting to receive him. The king just landed their and started his new life happily thanks to the old man’s advice.

In this story we can see that the king utilized his temporary tenure very wisely under the guidance of the old man. In the same way after attaining the human form of life, one should make this spiritual investment

If I were the king, I would have simply sent @Troll to troll out all wild animals from the island without any investment. Btw, nice story we should always have to listen our elder’s advice.

Define god ?
If it is who created universe, then let the scientist expand,
If he created me or my ancestors, then I consider 4444…….. gradmothers as god.
…..
My personal opinions :
If there is no god in me then it is nowhere.utter one.
Those little indigenious cartoons are meant for what if I preach and worship my parents ?

Those bothered and in blue searching a way out and for good,I don’t have issues if they find god in them.
….
At last last if u mean then u shld believe and worship that is what OP depicts.

The Wise Man’s Stone

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream.

The next day she met another traveler who was hungry,

and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The traveler left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman. “I’ve been thinking,” he said, "I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me something more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone. Moral : All the treasures in our world not worth the noble feelings that we carry within ourselves to others.

Jenny was a bright-eyed, pretty five-year-old girl.

One day when she and her mother were checking out at the grocery store, Jenny saw a plastic pearl necklace priced at $2.50. How she wanted that necklace and when she asked her mother if she would buy it for her, her mother said, “Well, it is a pretty necklace, but it costs an awful lot of money. I’ll tell you what. I’ll buy you the necklace, and when we get home we can make up a list of chores that you can do to pay for the necklace. And don’t forget that for your birthday Grandma just might give you a whole dollar bill, too. Okay?”
Jenny agreed, and her mother bought the pearl necklace for her. Jenny worked on her chores very hard every day, and sure enough, her Grandma gave her a brand new dollar bill for her birthday. Soon Jenny had paid off the pearls.

How Jenny loved those pearls. She wore them everywhere to kindergarten, bed, and when she went out with her mother to run errands. The only time she didn’t wear them was in the shower – her mother had told her that they would turn her neck green. Now Jenny had a very loving daddy. When Jenny went to bed, he would get up from his favorite chair every night and read Jenny her favorite story. One night when he finished the story, he said, “Jenny, do you love me?”

“Oh yes, Daddy, you know I love you,” the little girl said.

“Well, then, give me your pearls.”

“Oh! Daddy, not my pearls!” Jenny said. “But you can have Rosie, my favorite doll. Remember her? You gave her to me last year for my birthday. And you can have her tea party outfit, too. Okay?”

“Oh no, darling, that’s okay.” Her father brushed her cheek with a kiss. “Good night, little one.”

A week later, her father once again asked Jenny after her story, “Do you love me?”

“Oh yes, Daddy, you know I love you.”

“Well, then, give me your pearls.”

“Oh, Daddy, not my pearls! But you can have Ribbons, my toy horse. Do you remember her? She’s my favorite. Her hair is so soft, and you can play with it and braid it and everything. You can have Ribbons if you want her, Daddy,” the little girl said to her father.

“No, that’s okay,” her father said and brushed her cheek again with a kiss. “God bless you, little one. Sweet dreams.”

Several days later, when Jenny’s father came in to read her a story, Jenny was sitting on her bed and her lip was trembling. “Here, Daddy,” she said, and held out her hand. She opened it and her beloved pearl necklace was inside. She let it slip into her father’s hand. With one hand her father held the plastic pearls and with the other he pulled out of his pocket a blue velvet box.

Inside of the box were real, genuine, beautiful pearls.

He had them all along. He was waiting for Jenny to give up the cheap stuff so he could give her the real thing!

REFLECTION

So it is with God. HE is waiting for us to give up the petty things in our lives so that he can give us beautiful treasures.

Are we holding onto things which God wants us to let go of?

Are we holding onto harmful or unnecessary partners, relationships, habits and activities which we have become so attached to that it seems impossible to let go?

Sometimes it is so hard to see what is in the other hand we should believe in one thing……………..

God will never take away something without giving us something better in its place!!

Are we earning to pay builders and interior designers, caterers and decorators?

Whom do we want to impress with our highly inflated house properties & fat weddings? Do you remember for more than two days what you ate at someone’s marriage? Why are we working like dogs in our prime years of life? How many generations do we want to feed? Most of us have two kids. Many have a single kid. How much is the “need” and how much do we actually “want”?? Think about it. Would our next generation be incapable to earn, that we save so much for them!?! Can not we spare one and a half days a week for friends, family and self?? Do you spend even 5% of your monthly income for your self enjoyment? Usually…No. Why can’t we enjoy simultaneously while we earn? Spare time to enjoy before you have slipped discs and large prostates. We don’t own properties, we just have temporary name on documents. GOD laughs sarcastically, when someone says, “I am the owner of this land”!! Do not judge a person only by the length of his car. Many of our science and maths teachers were great personalities riding on scooters!! It is not bad to be rich, but it is very unfair, to be only rich. Let’s get a LIFE, before life gets us, instead….
