One day a professor entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They waited anxiously at their desks for the test to begin. The professor handed out the question paper, with the text facing down as usual. Once he handed them all out, he asked his students to turn the page and begin. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions….just a black dot in the
center of the page. The professor seeing the expression on
everyone’s face, told them the
following:
“I want you to write what you see there.”
The students confused, got started on the inexplicable task.
At the end of the class, the professor took all the answer papers and started reading each one of them aloud in front of all the students. All of them with no exceptions, described the black dot, trying to explain its position in the middle of the sheet, etc. etc. etc. After all had been read, the classroom silent, the professor began to explain:
“I am not going to grade on you this, I just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper. Everyone focused on the black dot – and the same happens in our lives. We have a white paper to observe and enjoy, but we always focus on the dark spots. Our life is a gift given to us by God, with love and care, and we always have reasons to celebrate – nature renewing itself everyday, our friends around us, the job that provides our livelihood, the miracles we see everyday…….
However we insist on focusing only on the dark spots – the health issues that bother us, the lack of money, the complicated relationship with a family member, the disappointment with a friend, a.s.o.
The dark spots are very small compared to everything we have in our lives, but they are the ones that pollute our minds.
Take your eyes away from the black spots in your life. Enjoy each one of your blessings, each moment that life gives you. Be happy and live a life filled with LOVE," .
A beautiful question. What is the meaning of life?
A beautiful answer to it: When a person is born, he has breath but no name and when he dies, he has name but no breath. The gap between this breath and name is life!….

Wasting Money
I heard of a lady, who lost Rs forty Lakhs in one night, in club playing cards. This is secondary information only to me. I see many times, people in the gold and jewellery shops, where they openly submit to what is called reduction (tharugu), to the clear unfair advantage of the shop owner. I see so many drinking and wasting money in the wine shops. There are so many who pile up saris other clothes by the hundreds.
I also see people desperately trying for loans as they have emergencies. The people that waste money clearly have contempt and indifference towards those in need. They are not only indifferent, but feel superior towards those in need. By losing money wastefully, they are actually reducing their security and are not saving their self respect. After all when one becomes desperate and needs loans, one is actually requesting, then begging, all reducing one’s self respect. Saving is saving one’s self esteem.
The marketing of superfluous goods, stupidities called luxuries actually is tricking the people into spineless zellys.It is the organized attempt at morale corrosion. The manufacture of those goods creates pollution, poisoning the land, water and air, making the entire breathe based communication impossible. It is a crime against the biosphere. Every animal responds to love. It senses your love by smelling. An animal that loves you is the best insurance for good health. The dog wagging its tail before you showing its love, actually is curing you of high BP. The BP medicines have many side effects. In fact the animals that give love cure many diseases, even certain cancers. But they have to breathe the clean air to feel the love. But we have disabled the biosphere from its innate capacity to guard you and cure you from disease by means of the lush flora and fauna.
Every animal, tree, plant…, responds to love. Love is the result of breathing pure air. An animal that loves you is the best doctor you can have. In fact the lush biosphere is a wonderful doctor. If polluting industries are established by the thousand, it is not different from nuking that country. A country of patients, cannot keep its independence. And the best defence for a country is saving the environment from pollution.
