Now it’s time to play women card because his others cards were rejected by Public. Instead of these freebies it would be better if he focus his vision for Delhi development. Even Congress shila was better than this joker kejriwal who do nothing except public stunt and propaganda. Now just wait and see from where he bring all these fund to compensate DMRC and DTC. As far as I have read around 30 lakh passengers travel daily thru Delhi metro. For DTC this is 40 lakh passengers per day. Around 30% of passengers are women. Now let’s see from where kejriwal will bring funds to make travel free.
Completely idiotic move! No logic in this.. Even the women themselves are criticising this move. IDK why these people are after “free” nomenclature? Rather they could have just reduce the price for all (if they really want so), that could also have helped for vote appeasement.. lol.
There must be “condition apply” asterisk mark. Like after 7 or 8 pm. Not possible for whole day. Also Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad cant be part of this as DMRC has partner ship between respective governments.
Actually DMRC and others should increase lines and make metro free for all. It’s scorching hot in Delhi and even AC is failing. Both central and state govt failed to plant trees like Shiela Dikshit so atleast bring down pollution levels and reduce global warming participation for Delhi.

Aren’t taxpayers paying for Ujjwala? Aren’t taxpayers paying for sanitation facilities? Aren’t taxpayers paying for 6000 to every family in village? Wouldn’t taxpayers will pay for upcoming house for all? Wouldn’t taxpayers pay for Jal se Nal Tak to every home in village by 2024? Atleast don’t use taxpayers excuse to ridicule any government scheme. All are same.
Instead of paying money to private contractors for farzi-vikas and media houses for spreading lies, Kejriwal is spending sarkari money for public benefit.
When he announced 25% budget for education, others should have learn lesson.
Moreover, MCD is totally under BJP councelers. Their salary is not paid from Delhi Govt fund. Still Kejriwal has given money to MCD few times in past to disburse salaries.

so if the plan is implemented for free travel in (metro) rail and buses, will it be for non Indians too?
on one side government collects more entry fee at museums and other places
then why should tax payers pay for foreigner’s travel?
