Just google about other religion doormats which were sold and there was a protest. Even protest against many games for using symbol linked to their religion.
Also when amazon sold doormat with indian flag and tweeples protested then indian mea sushma swaraj herself asked amazon ‘remove it with apology or no visa’ then they removed it with apology.
In india you have to follow some rules just to use our national flag, eg you should flag it after sunrise and take down before sunset, also people have some respect for tricolor. in usa rules are different and there no one care for flag it seems. So don’t compare everything with usa lol. They even burnt their flag when trump won, so? There people are allowed to have guns, so we should allow that in India too?
it is not just linked with one religion, it happened with others too. Even many games were banned in countries where some symbols of religions were used. People who follow some deity will not like to see such things and others can’t force them to tolerate it.There is no creativity or common sense in selling toilet seats with god, may be intellectual find it cool or something unique in such things.
Yeah some haters may find it funny/encouraging to see gods on toilet seat for obvious reasons but one thing to notice if you are atheist then too you are expected to respect other’s beliefs and peaceful protest is nothing wrong.
Like you have right to criticize on small things, they also have, And it is their wish how they protest peacefully. They are not picking guns or arresting people to protest cartoons/meme.
Though it is fault of seller and might be seller doing it intentionally because you sell colorful attractive mats, not the mat with God pics, but Amazon reacts late on such things and sometimes totally ignore such things.
Even any person would not like to see her own selfie on doormat or toilet seats, if m saying wrong then they can try it with own pic 😙😂 cool na

There’s difference in Amazon willingly taking off a product and forcing into remove it.
you know there was a protest to remove the movie “innocence of Muslims” on YouTube. But YouTube never removed it. I wish Amazon takes similar call and not give into demands of fanatics
There’s nothing wrong in holding a religious belief, but enforcing on others is. Like in this case, they r essentially dictating what a seller in the US should sell.

you may think that people only respect own god but here we respect all beliefs, first understand what India is. Here anyone can follow any religion or no religion at all, but you can’t mock any of those.
