A wiki on - How web sites send coupons

guyz plz add to the collection ,

i know ebay sends coupons by email to regiestered id’s and it is account specific… but different websites follow different styles.
it would be beneficial for all of us if we can make a small wiki, as many new websites are popping up every day..
