I’m the latest person to be scalped by Infibeam’s refund policy.
I ordered a Dell Monitor on 1st July, but later they asked for ID, which I provided the very next day and asked for confirmation of delivery by 6th July, which they provided.
On 5th July it wasn’t even shipped so I asked them to cancel it and I’ll purchase from a local Dell Store.
They mailed and confirmed that the refund will be completed in 4-5 business days.
I call them after 5 days they tell me the bullshit story that the amount is stuck with some payment gateway, which they won’t name, or provide contact details for. And after talking to a senior guy I got to know that it could take another week and I should check up with me bank.
Next I call my bank and they tell me that I have been most likely been a victim of Cyber Fraud. eek
I call Infibeam again and they assured me that it’s nothing like that and I should wait for another 5 days.
Next I call them on this Tuesday, 16th July. I asked about my status and the lady on the phone asks me to wait for another 5 days, after some argument she tells me that I’ll get a refund by Thursday positively. I asked her to mail the confirmation to me. Hours later I get no mail and I call them again. Talk to a few senior guys, but no one is ready until a really senior guy who says he’ll send a mail the same day itself. But no mail.
Forget about the refund they are not even ready to confirm a date, by which I should expect by amount. They just keep telling me the refund process takes 7 to 21 days. I asked the guy to send me a mail with the date adding 21 days to my cancellation. But no luck.
My order id is 11051759 and the amount was 17627.
I tried messaging them on Facebook and Twitter, but no luck.
Next I’m sending a mail to Delhi Cybercell. Could someone provide the email id for the Infibeam’s CEO so I could CC it to them as well.
