Since the launch of 5G, Jio and Airtel have been providing Unlimited Free 5G Data to their new users on their 4G recharge plans. However, this is going to end soon as the companies are planning to rollout new 5G Recharge Plans which will be upto 20% costlier!

Airtel and Jio will Launch 5G Recharge Plans by July 2024. These new 5G plans will have prices increased by minimum 5-10%. To compensate, Airtel and Jio might give you 30-40% more data. Possibly, by September 2024, prices will be at a minimum 20% hike! You can save on these with Airtel Recharge offers and Jio Recharge offers.
Both Telecom Conglomerates have an ARPU (average revenue per user) of ₹200/month. After the hike it is expected to change to ₹250/month. Thus, you will need to shell out somewhere around ₹30-₹80 more per month for your Mobile Prepaid Recharge. For instance, the popular Jio ₹666 1.5GB/day quarterly plan might go up to ₹750 (₹84 more) for the new 5G plan.
Airtel and Jio are ending the Free 5G Service to increase their RoCE (return on capital employed) by a minimum of 20%. Also, the Telecom Service Tariff in India is around ₹165/month which is the Lowest in the World!

India currently has 125M 5G users. With upcoming dedicated 5G services, Airtel and Jio are planning to up this number to 200M by the end of 2024. Other telecom operators in Vi and BSNL do not have a 5G network till date!
Last mobile recharge tariff hike was done 2 years ago in November 2021 which was 19-25% by Vi, Airtel, and Jio. Let’s see how this new move unfolds in 2024!
1. What is the Last Date for Free Unlimited 5G on Jio and Airtel?
Probably 30th June, 2024
2. If I do an annual recharge now, will Free Unlimited 5G work for the entire 2024?
Yes, until the new 5G plans are announced.

I have 395 plans in queue. What will happen to them? Will 5g voucher be added once they get activated?
You should have 5G mobile and recharge a pack which has 'unlimited 5G' tag on Jio app or website. It will be valid till pack expires. You can recharge on any platform (Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Mobikwik, etc).
Anyone knows how to recharge Voice only package on JIO ? probably a month pack? I couldnt find it on MyJio App.
There is no voice only pack. You can go for limited data to get at low price. I do the 395 pack for 3 months (84) days. 1 month one will cost you more while yearly price is same as 3 month plan price when calculated per month. Thus, 395 pack is best pick. It gives total 6GB data which is enough for Whatsapp text, some videos, browsing, online payments, etc.
what kind of phakery is this when they cnnot even deliver 4jee properly forget about 5jijajee
