Jio Disney+ Hotstar New Plans Launched with Added Benefits : Details Inside
Reliance Jio has come up with 4 new prepaid recharge plans under their Disney+ Hotstar VIP pack. This means that the existing Jio Disney+ Hotstar plans will come to an end starting September 1, 2021. However, the yearly plan of Rs 2599 will continue to function as it is. This new Jio Hotstar plan will work only on mobile and that too 1 device per plan.
These new Jio Hotstar plans are costlier than the previous ones, but also provide some additional benefits. Now, you will get access to more international content and that too in English. With old plans you used to get international content dubbed in regional languages, but now it covers English as well. These include Disney+ originals, Disney TV shows, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, HBO, FX, Showtime, and others.

The New Jio Hotstar VIP 549 Plan is a data add-on plan. It offers 1.5GB/day for 56 days. You can club it with the new Jio Hotstar plan when your high speed data gets exhausted.

You can use only 1 mobile device per plan for streaming.
It will be costlier now. Recharge today and activate later when your old plan expires.

From 1 sep,in current vip subscription you can watch english content as well

Plan for 1 year at 2599 is there which is best if you want to use Hotstar.
You can recharge maximum 5 times, and it Is activated one by one automatically after previous plan ends

All Hotstar plan activates on the day of recharge, whether the Jio Plan gets activated or not, or its in queue.
So No use recharging it in multiple.
You can use my recharge as an example
My Hotstar plan expiry was 19 September 2021. Now after recharging now my new expiry is19 September 2022.
My jio plan expiry is February 2022, so the 401 plan is waiting in the queue for me to activate it

If i already have Hotstar Premium subscription, & then recharge with Jio-Hotstar plan.
What will happen to the ₹499 hotstar mobile subscription, will it get added in queue after premium plan ?
there is one more confusion that if we are using hotstar already on one number. can we recharge using this for next year. according to me all these offers are for one time per user.
The new standalone Hotstar premium now costs 1499/365 days and gives 4 screen simultaneous access.
Works out to less than 29/screen/28 days. Get a standalone hotstar plan, share among 4 friends/family and recharge with cheaper general Jio plan.
for ones who are asking whether hot star plan will stay in queue,just check my comment above .I recharged before expiry and now the 399 plan is in queue for me i.e validity got extended by one year from the date of expiry of current plan,not the day of rcharge

My current plan is VIP only,and the future plan which start from 19th September is also showing 399 VIP plan
499 mobile plan has only mobile option -you cant use on laptop
399 VIP plan all the benefits of 499 mobile plan +we can use on laptop/tv
but now as 399 plan is not available instead of going for 499,find 3-4 persons to share and buy 1499 plan,it will be better because ts adfree and you can play 1080p and better

It seems you can upgrade from vip of jio to premium plan @ 1100(VIP was 399)
if you are interested in buying 1499 just recharge jio(you will get good discounts too),then upgrade plan to 1499
I used flipkart plus coins to get membership of hotstar but was unable to stream on my tv so had to add 400₹ again for upgradation to super. Now I can watch on 2 devices full HD. that’s 899 pack for 400 I would say.
