Isn't it true that wireless earbuds are everywhere these days? As you go down the street, it looks like everyone is wearing a pair. The market has expanded at such a quick and exponential rate that it is now overflowing with possibilities at all price points. With its new collection of wearables, Swedish audio brand Urbanista has entered the Indian market to cater to the TWS segment buyers.

India has a market for headphones and earbuds worth $11 billion, making it one of the world's largest. And it's not hard to see why. They take convenience to a whole new level by eliminating the need for cords between your headphones and your smartphone. This increased independence is useful in everyday life and especially beneficial if you live an active lifestyle.

Urbanista was founded in 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden, by a group of people who shared a passion for cities and urban living. Urbanista product range includes audio devices, which includes active noise-cancelling headphones, true wireless earbuds, and Bluetooth speakers that don’t skimp on sound quality or design. All their products are sleek, fashionable, and sound amazing, and they provide the soundtrack for a life in motion, drawing inspiration from the world's best cities and steeped in Scandinavian design history.

Urbanista Los Angeles Solar Powered Active Noise Cancelling Headphones

The thought of solar-powered headphones is enticing. Wireless devices' battery life has increased significantly over time, but it is still far from flawless, and those broad headbands give the ideal surface for a sheet of solar cells to allow constant charging.

Urbanista isn't the first start-up to try to make good on this concept — JBL announced a pair in 2019 that it had to postpone due to the pandemic — however it’s Los Angeles are the first solar-powered headphones to make it to market. According to Urbanista, the average listener should be able to spend months without charging their headphones.
