1) Legally I am not sure if they can tinker around with offer URL. They should offer new URL if there is price change or freebies removed. This one is really interesting and I think someone who is an expert on cybercrime and knows about Indian IPC can chip in.

How can StarCJ remove items from site offer – that they initially promised, took payment for and then ask customers to prove that they did promise something? This is outright cheating and fraud and will certainly need a lawsuit to teach them a lesson.

2) Also in my case they said that someone will call me on 2 to 3 days.. No one called. I have been on phone with them 4 times already and this time I did take a tracking number too for my order. The trakcing number of my complaint is 20130124035357

Yes, I am +1 to share cost for Akosha complaint and taking them to consumer court. We all must also claim for our times and psychological stress we undergo when we feel cheated when our credit cards are charged but goods promised not delivered and we are asked to prove that that offer was really in place because startcj has purposefully played foul and changed the URL and offer itself!!!

I got the call yesterday around 5.pm from starcj,they said that they shipped the free gifts,i emailed them in folowing manner..

after I rejected delivery 4 days back I got call yesterday and they are telling that they will deliver freebies within 4 to 5 days. I said I don’t want anything from Starcj ..bye bye for your frankness:-}

They are clearly denying of any freebies… I called them yesterday and the guy argued with me that the product was never with any freebies. If I placed the order, I should have checked the item details… blah blah…

Finally I asked him to cancel my order, to which he replied that the refund will be issued in 7-10 days… hope it does.

no company have fears of consumer court in india

call cc & ask for their written reply on freebies as you r going to file case in consumer court…
i tried this with other sites & merely asking them for written reply will bring them in line…if not file complaint in consumer forum..

I wish there was something like COURT Stay Order to be put for such sites and stop them from further selling because of series of complaints and rip off they do to the consumers.

I have already placed them on hook and have started recording calls. Still didn’t receive the promo offers

My rejected order finally cancelled today..it is very bad customer experience with starcj.

Their customer cell said I will receive GV and freebies by yesterday (Sunday) and now and told another 10 days. Starcj is pathetic. They are bunch of idiots. Even floor supervisor’s words were useless now. It looks like a garage operation!

this page has green faces bcos we cant change them to red after voting green.:-{ my money has’nt yet been refunded since they cancelled on 25jan.

Since I’ve not received any update from Starcj on refund, I’m going to contact Akosha. Anyone else who would like to join… ?

I refused the order still they took 40 days to refund my money. I would suggest don’t buy from starcj. Another cheater after TIMTARA.
Immediately I closed my account with them. There is withdrawl option after login in, from there I closed my account.
