@raghupro Any suggestions?
@Stupendous Man Anything to say?
iPhone is Designed in USA and made in china.if USA made iphones than it would cost 1500$ for 32gb
Seriously? You think Apple products are made of something different material or American aluminium is 10x more expensive than Chinese aluminium?
No sir materials are same but the pay for workers in USA is more than double of that in China.china workers do overtime and make tons of devices but still they settle down for pennies
I still find companies that make cheap and world class audio products ‘Made in US’. Companies like ‘Schiit’ (yes that’s what they call themselves) are breaking barriers in VFM.

Well, we diverted from the topic and took another sub-route. Just for ending the argument, the competition is between Indian and Chinese products(labour) which is almost same.

Nope, iPhone is priced as if it is manufactured in US. Philosophy of outsourcing is not to pass the savings to customer, to an extent it may, but mainly to increase company’s profits.
Everything we use is made in china .. our pc parts , phones, chargers etc. We cant imagine our life without them bcoz they are cheap .
Haa m deshbhakt hu but kya kru ye hi sachhai .

Guys, patriotism is intent and desire to go thru sacrifices without cribbing about. In modern times it is almost impossible to boycott any country’s products completely but every beginning is a means to an end. Start thinking about it, start making efforts about finding alternatives, if you don’t find one, pl go about what is affordable and what you are able to find at least you have begun. For everybody’s info, most of Samsung, LG and HTC phones are not made in China (some of their parts could be).
LOGIC of shopkeepers suffering as they have already stocked is correct but as i said patriotism is all about “sacrifices” customers are sacrificing in finding alternatives which are probably more expensive. Ask yourself a question "are u willing to sacrifice " ?
This topic is best example of economic terrorism by other countries specially those which are against India . those countries made India so dependent that we are alteady so much dependent with their products and life is unstable without those . they are not completely wrong bcoz we people and govt too in last 70 years never thought to make India as hub of manufacturing sector . and result can be seen today -,in every IT category we are importer .
companies which do assemble their products in China and that too in their own factories , are just sharing a small part of revenue . but those who are completely Chinese brand shares almost complete profit to china market . so don’t treat both type of companies as same . and avoid later ones .
But some people makes a thought by a news anchor blog – that what will happen to those hawkers and small shopkeepers who sells these . actually that anchor deliberately mix this point so that emotional indian will say we should not boycott that . but let me tell you hawkers mainly sells handmade diwali items for lighting and they never stock from 6 month . they just do stock items for 2-4 days . and small shopkeepers will somehow sell it to people who are like that anchor . and as of now only 25% decline in demand so they can avoid those items from now , so this point to offend this campaign is totally illogical but yes amazingly emotional point to fool readers .
Only solution is to give more focus on making items in India and in starting , importing those parts from outside (if needed) and assembling here then later completely make in India .
Till then we cant avoid Chinese concept completely but can avoid Chinese brands and prefer other brands . and those who have already those items , if you throw them then that’s will not harm China in anyway bcoz you already paid for that . so use that item completely till last penny .
if still any person think we can never compete then see japan (herosima+nagasaki+2011 disaster biggest one yet) , also at time of freedom india was ranking ahead of china but our efforts were never been like a influence leader .
Also if we have few Indian brands for these items then it will have 1 more benefit that there will be competition in price and quality so it will further a plus point . ever thought would amazon be so friendly and competitive in case of no existence of flipkart and snapdeal .
But in case of flash offers loot deals we should loot them as that is also in our favour as it is not giving any margin to them – dimers prospective to
take revenge .
btw a news for china lovers , china people know already we are so emotional fool , will never boycott them completely as we are already their slave , this news is not fake , various other news handles shown it and word was used same as below pic “indian only can bark” -
request to admin and mod not to delete this news pic .
@goyal.dkg
Talking about emotionalism, it certainly is true because this entire topic rests on the fact (or allegation) that Pakistan, our enemies, are supported by China. Otherwise why would anyone speak of boycotting them? They took Tibet by force. Did we ever give a damn? So, it’s better to stop painting a picture as if the boycotters are all standing for Dharma. They are just as emotionally stupid as the supporters. Moreover, if we, as a country really wanted to boycott China, there are more efficient and quick ways than we stop buying mobiles and stuff. Point to ponder!
Agreed on the point about economic terrorism. But, is not America the greatest economic terrorist in the world? Why don’t we talk about that ever?
More importantly, we don’t have a people-resource-based self-sustainable economic policy. Our policies are completely in service of our foreign “brothers” and inland “bastards”. What do you hope to achieve with that, I wonder!
thats true that all those people are boycotting also may be doing it today emotionally and will forgive and even forget it later , and yes there are many ways to boycott china but this one is also one of those .
and yes not only china , i already said in my first line that all countries MNCs made india dependent , in current situation we are only against china but if ask truth , we must be self dependent first and think to less use other countries item . bcoz every country think for itself no one is so good or bad for india , all are showing faces bcoz of personal interest , today it is china , tomorrow may be china becomes friend and us as enemy , who knows , bcoz all is only politics .
so as you and me too said that build our economic condition first strong so that we can challenge others , but as of now we can at least do prefer better options .
and hurting part is even china thinks (news pic) we indians can only bark , so at least for self respect we can avoid as much as we can .
This discussion will never end
Though I decided not to hijack the thread anymore but some facts for the sake of ending it(part II).
Can we be completely independent of China?
Answer: NO
Reason: Rare Earth elements. China is the biggest producer of rare Earth elements which are required for manufacturing electronics, one of the prime reasons why every big US company has their manufacturing unit in China(it’s more predominant reason than ‘cheap labour’).
Mining the rare Earth metals produces massive greenhouse gases and other environmental/health hazards. Hence, US companies throw the hazardous job at China. For all the ‘Bhakts’ you should more be dedicated to cause of protecting the environment…
1. Be less dependant on electronics
2. Stop buying/changing a phone/gadget every year.
That would do more good than ill-informed, misguided patriotism.
