BRU Super Strong Coffee, 1kg @ Rs.135

Hmm, I noticed quite a lot of poor feedback about this coffee in last page, probably they are all right, this isn’t a pure coffee and all, but is this only me that finds this one “much better” than the Nescafe? I mean the Nescafe doesn’t have any strong feeling at all, and tastes bad too, in comparison with this impure coffee! I must have poor taste in coffees anyway.

PS: My comment is applicable for the Bru coffees which are sold in 10 rupee pouch though, can’t say whether this one is same or not!

Bru is definitely more bitter than nescafe because of the chicory which gives the impression of it being stronger but it’s down on flavour and aroma. So it’s a question of personal preference.

Tripti has coffee(53%) and chicory(47%)

I wanted to buy it to make cold coffee but missed AGAIN!…wouldn’t make hot coffee with this but some people seem to like the xtra bitterness

Well yes, I absolutely like the “bitterness” in coffee, that’s why I drink coffee, not milk

For same reason I never pour milk in tea (when its not green anyway), it tastes much worse than piss I think (I never tasted piss, so can’t be sure)

I had bought it even before this thread was bumped but then cancelled immediately bcoz of shipping charges and started looking some fillers .
People are buying in bulks either for resale reason or freeing the shipping charges thats why no one was able to grab even one..
Stock was sufficient but not enough that 1 people buying four nos .
1 kg = 800 cups is not small quantity to consume hence I am still in dilemma considering the taste of this coffee..
