you one has to disassemble the ps3 and than solder a daughter board on the main motherboard
devices are called ODEs.
now a days,easily available in india as well.
i would recomment COBRA ode or E3 flasher.

I had ordered for PSP E1004 with 30% discount. The price was Rs 6990 and with discount it came to Rs 4900 approx.

Recd the material today. The packing looks like it was already handled lots of times and looks very old. Suprisingly the seal was unopened and I have taken videos and pics of the opening of the box etc. Have not yet switched it ON and need to do it when I find time, since i am in office.

Is the return process tedious in indiatimes shopping.

i think this products are old item taken from shop which is demoed to custoemrs and then put back in boxes

i m filing complaint against India times they are cheating with peoples…..deal definitely not worth since this can even be refurbished items

Just a small update. The seal was looking intact so i opened the box and checked contents. Switched on the unit and found to be working ok after charging the unit. Checked with SONY customer care and they informed that if you have a proper invoice then warranty is valid for ONE Year from date of invoice which is 17th April 2014 in my case.

Chk the OFW version/system software version.. incase of superslim model
If the version is below 4.55 then it cn easily be modded wth any ODE’s in markt. Bt if u by mistk update it to 4.55 then its a bit complicatd process ..it cn be modded bt will be needing an extra “swap disk”.

1. gta 4 & NFS latest
2. uncharted 2 & 3
3. batman arkham city
4. litle big planet
5. red dead redemption
6 God OF WAr (complete sage 4 games)
bioshock infinite
portal 2
COD modern warfare 2
Infamous2
asssasain creed 3

hows the deal so total paid 21500 (16400 for blue 500 gb model) and 5k for mod

Its gaming time thanks to bodmas

You paid 5000? It can be done for 1500 here in delhi at palika bazaar. Max 2000.
