Lol do you think the Custom ROM’s you are talking about can give make you use the complete power of Optimus G ?? I am myself a Cyanogenmod developer and i can assure you that if kernel upgrades are not available the Next Android version itself becomes pretty much senseless. Plus don’t expect any further upgrades for Optimus G.
Also one more think to consider is once you are on a custom ROM which is not stable and is only in beta stages it can lead to a bricking your device. Once you brick your device since you don’t have any warranty you will be pretty much helpless. These are not Nexus or Amazon or Samsung which can be tricked into Manual Fastboot mode with the use of dongles or factory cables.
However you are ready to compromise with the updates it’s a very good price for the hardware you get. But believe not having official updates will really suck after a point !!
Rest the choice is yours !!

both nexus 4 and LG optimus g have the same chip they use same power just that 4g is disabled in nexus 4 .. obviously nexus 4 has a huge community so they are able to optimize it Much faster..

why are you even comparing it with moto g ? those two are in different leagues.. moto g is not even in the competetion.. difference between adreno 305 and adreno 320 is massive.. more than 100% difference..
moto g is a weak phone a lumia 520, xperia m is much better than moto g in preformance.. what moto g excells in bringing build qualiy, great 720 p display, decent performance, google support all at a good price from an international reputed OEM

even 3 year old phones have android 4.4 like motorola defy.. nexus 4 has a huge huge fast development that’s the only advantage.. development in optimus g is a little slow. that doesnt mean nexus 4 is in a different league of its own compared to optimus g ..

a gr8 phone but you can find many deals on ebay of many other phones like lumia 900,galaxy s4 active etc Also if someone wants some low budget ohone can try metropcs current offer buy phone and unlock than though i dont know much about it
Anyways lg optimus g is gr8 phone in this budget even the available interface is nice if you dont want to root rooting will also be nice idea as you dont have warranty so it will not affect it much.

Android 4.4 sucks on my nexus 7. Jelly bean 4.1/.2/.3 are the best.

Will downgrade soon.

Once I get the phone we will mod the sh!t out of it to get the best out of it.
I will be more than happy to share my humble modding/rooting knowledge with u guys as u guys helped me buying it.
Also, many people(like that guy claiming this LTE chip might eat more power) pass their opinion as established facts when it comes to technicalities, read these things with a pinch of salt (I also am not claiming to be an expert here) HW-wise on paper this looks like a beast and ideally should behave like one if running on the right ROM. And yes getting accessories in India is always a pain for most mobiles, I m struggling to find decent back-cover and screen-guard for my Nexus 7(2012)

But you won’t get a better offer for this kind of hardware and software. Its highly customized by LG. And gorilla glass on both sides. Single sim is a limitation though for many.

Is there anything suspicious about this listing? Since I searched this phone in eBay with model name I saw more than 50 listing with same price and only thing difference is the listing name which has a time stamp to each. It varies.

That item location is California. Whereas the one we all have bought from is in Miami, Florida. So both those sellers are different obviously. Still not much to worry about the seller “Breed” or “thegoodblokes” as both have >98% +ve feedback.

But we have to worry about i2cworld because they have too many -ve reviews for my comfort. If they open the box after receiving or manhandle the packages, then we have to worry.
