using same wifi connection on u8150/a89/asus memo pad hd/lumia 520. loading desidime takes less than fraction of second on others, 15-20 on 520.

yaar Mr A, 520 for me is thrash. opera mini/chrome loads on crap 500 MHz ideos u8150 much much faster in compare to lumia 520 internet explorer or uc browser. I am pretty sure moto g will be much better as opera or chrome could run on it and not ie api or engine supported slow browsers.
BTW, any suggestions for fast browsers on lumia 520?
yaar I was talking only from pure performance comparison..
your issue is a network/app issue.. I am not familiar with wp8 , maybe the difference is OS based .. or maybe your data is first going to NSA so long loading times .. lol.. ask any other wp8 user try Firefox or opera mobile not mini for wp if they are available
This is not the international version ,but AT&T Version …it has a lot of differences in Camera ,Body Dimension ,Internal storage ,LTE Frequencies etc ….So the problem is with phone’s dimension (130.8 × 71.6 × 8.4 mm) ,Availability of accessories like screen guard ,Flip cover ,Cases& Covers are hardly limited in india.

What handsets will work with 4G networks in India?
Although a lot of the newer high-end handsets that launched in India, like the LG G2 and Sony Xperia Z1 come with LTE connectivity, they will not work with India’s 2300 MHz frequency. Qualcomm, one of the major manufacturer behind the wireless LTE radios that go into these mobiles, is yet to inculcate this band into its offerings. However, that might all change very soon considering that the Indian government is collaborating with China in creating a similar 4G TD-LTE network in China.
This makes for a combined user base of around 1 billion who will be utilising the TD-LTE Band 40. That is a major incentive for manufacturers to launch devices that have this frequency. Furthermore, a similar band for both India and China mean that manufacturers can launch one version of their handset with this frequency which will work in both countries. Already, devices like the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S come with LTE Band 40, which means that these devices will work on 4G networks in both countries.
So, if you’re looking to buy a handset that works with India’s LTE standard, you have to check whether the handset includes LTE Band 40, which has a frequency of 2,300 MHz. As for mainstream availability of such handsets, Reliance is rumoured to be collaborating with Samsung to launch affordable 4G handsets that cost in the vicinity of Rs. 5,000. Micromax is also allegedly testing its future 4G offerings on Reliance’s network to ensure that there are no accessibility issues.
Other manufacturers are also intent on launching 4G enabled handsets that work on India’s LTE band. These handsets will be more widely available starting next year, once the 4G networks from major carriers begin rolling out to more cities.
Where is it mentioned that it’s a AT&T version.all it says is that it’s unlocked which could mean it’s the international version

XDA 8GB to 16GB of internal space http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?…
Github https://github.com/bibanon/android-development-…
So now issue of good custom roms is also soved
All those who have purchased enjoy you new Nexus 4
Yup it can get converted to nexus 4 apart from looks
But capacitive buttons will stop working
Internal storage will be reduced to 8 GB
No micro SD card support
4g whatsoever will not work
But only pro will be vast community support.
My suggestion would be use the device as optimus g only . root it and use available ROMs meant for it only.

what I meant was somebody not buying this phone because it does not have 4g is funny..
this phone is capable of 2g and 3g with any GSM operator In India…
so it will work with your airtel..
a good 3g connection is more than enough to stream HD videos without buffering..4g isn’t going to be affordable for next 1-2 year until the auction of 700 MHz band … and if 700 band is auctioned then 4g would work with this phone as well.. that’s not the point .. the point is it will be expensive and useless at the same time for at least next 1.5 years..

From specs it looks to be AT&T’s unlocked phone, International version which is also available with Sprint in US has 13MP cam and 32GB internal memory and is without micro sd card slot, this has 8 MP camera, 16 GB internal memory and has a micro SD card slot.
If it’s work on 2G & 3G at the moment in India and will work with 4G after 2-3 years (If I buy this and it remain solid till 3-4 years I will use it for 5 years at least ) than HOW this deal is EXPENSIVE?

I am saying 4g wil be expensive not the deal..
if you want to have a good 4g phone that will work in india you need to wait at least 6 months for decent handsets to come to Market .. right now only xolo has 1 model , iPhone 5c/s and 1 or 2 models..
Ohhh my GOD?
Than whats the use of such Upgrade?
This handset is Capacitive Screen than DOES the WHOLE PHONE stop working?
Very confusing yaar.. can any one care to explain more to MANGO men who is unable to understand technical work and words too

Bought 2 phones awesome deal.
Sooner or later it will get the best of updates as the hardware is really good and xda is really active for this phone.:-D
Why is this not an FPD? 10 people (including me) have suggested this. Admin where are you?

phones without warranty are not made fpd
Another point to be noted is that Nexus 4 doesn’t have ANY 4G compatibility at all. So 4G is an addon when compared to E970. Useless anyway but if one hangs on to this for 2 years, maybe one can see 4G network on this mobile too.
Sorry but I am not able to title.
I think this can be done by moderators only now.
