upload is useless i don’t get more than 150kilobits anytime…

speed fluctuation is always there…. but minimum u get is ~600kbps and most of the time it is around 1 mbps and night time around 2 mps

My friend was using MTS M Blaze and they gave so blazing speed that he had to quit at the end.

it is always good to check coverage in your area before buying … for me the rep came to my home for checking and it worked . i am about 5kms form the tower…

I was using BSNL unlimited plan for like 5-6 years and the speed was 256kbps then they increased it to 512kbps and again they increased it to 1 mbps till 6 gb and after that 512 kbps. And I was paying monthly rent of approx Rs 1000.

Now using this one from last few months and no FUP or any kind of crap.
Every month 2-3 times connection goes down for 1 hour or so but its no big deal.
95% uptime.

Funny fact when my speed was slow I wanted to download so much now when I have this I don’t feel like downloading anything.:-P

I am on mblaze ultra 999 postpaid plan and this is the speed i am getting.

And this plan is the old 999 plan, there is nothing like 20gb during day and 20 gb during night. I can use the 40gb anytime.
But as someone told, there is no way to check usage balance, Have to call their toll free customer care every time. They alert us on screen once the 80% usage limit is exhausted.

Depens on location bro… It start from .71 to 3.5 mbps for me in last three days.

DONT EVER BUY MTS DATA CARD.

Worst customer care
Pathetic speed
All India roaming not there ( at time of giving same they will not tell u this)

Bought MTS 5 months back under 40. GB plan and closed same in 2 months time.
Put some 3000 as roaming charges in 4-5 days and stopped service stating credit limit got over.

My dispute with MTS still going on.

Then bought TATA PHOTON WIFI device and very happy with speed, customer care and roaming also free.

Congrats on FPD.

Going by my experience why you should consider other ISPs over MTS:

1) They dont let you see data usage & balance like Photon, Vodafone, Airtel & others do. You need to call their CC to find out how much data is consumed & remaining. Their data usage logging is highly doubtful. A 220mb test DL added 500mb when enquired with CC.

2) MTS postpaid bills are not payable on Freecharge/Paytm/Mobikwik platforms

3) Customer Service sucks. You write a complaint & they prefer to reply over telephone. If you cannot attend the call then the case is closed. Equally bad are response from appellate authority.

4)Takes long time to activate your connection. Google for more..

5)Roaming usage is charged at 40p/mb whereas photon & others give you national roaming free

6)In unlimited plans speed is sub limited to 56kbps (actually lesser) whereas photon caps you at 112kbps

7) Their is no carry forward of unconsumed data, dont know if others provide

999 for 40GB offer is also available with Tata Photon for quite sometime. But Photon is expensive compared to MTS plans & have some bad customer reviews too.

All ISPs charge you even if you dont use it & you cannot migrate from postpaid to prepaid before 6 months. Plan change possible only from next billing cycle. Sometimes it is very difficult to terminate a postpaid connection as the authority lies with them & you are committed to pay till the time they terminate the connection.

At the same time, one can look at Zizer’s speed test, ebaylovers, c393 & dimepincher (i.e. me) giving positive reviews on MTS’ service.

BHAI HOW MUCH U PAID FOR MTS DATA CARD..AND R U REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS MTS BLAZE..AND IS THIS MTS IS STATIC OR DYNAMIC...BCOZ WE ALL KNOW IN OUR DEALS PURCHASING FROM DIFF ACC ETC..WE NEED DYNAMIC..SO THAT IP ADDRESS KEEP CHANGE AFTER ON OFF….

it’s 20 GB day 20 GB night… Download speed is good… usually in range of 400-700 KBps
Surfing is real bad at least in my area…. strange issue and even mts couldnt fix it and agreed to disconnect instead of looking into the matter…. but if we use vpn it works great…. all in all a good plan…

PS : reliance now offers similar plan with speed upto 14 mbps… u can check that also….

I am using MTS Mblaze for last 2years. There is good and bad time , I have seen in last 2years.

Pros

- Speed is good only in particular area of Metro (Shastri nagar,Delhi & Chrompet,shollinganallur Chennai)
- Earlier this was cheaper than competitor
- Only in Rs999, device plus 10GB data

Cons

- pathetic customer care
- pathetic sales office reply
- Hidden data use
- Poor signal most of the places even in metro
- Now price for data is high.

Finally avoid to use if you move across nation.
