OnePlus 2 will be available in India without an invite in first open sale on October 12 https://blog.oneplus.net/india/2015/10/09/op2_o...
OnePlus just announced that it will hold the first open sale for the OnePlus 2 smartphone in India on October 12th. The OnePlus 2 went on sale in India back in August for Rs. 24,999 and is currently available for purchase only with invites on Amazon. It has scheduled an event in Bangalore on October 12th to announce The Next Big Step.
An Open sale lets you purchase the OnePlus 2 smartphone without any invite, so if you are waiting to get the smartphone, this is the time to grab one. The sale would be for limited quantity which is expected to stock out quickly given the high demand for the phone, says the company.
The OnePlus 2 open sale in India happens between 12:00 and 1 PM on October 12, 2015, Monday on Amazon.in. We already know how fast smartphones sell out during flash sales in India, so get ready to buy the smartphone immediately after the sale opens since the stocks are limited. You can purchase only one unit for an Amazon account, said the company.

I was fed up of OP invite system, went ahead and bought a SG S6, glad that I did, OP2 is not as good as the OP1 was in it’s days. OP2 is a flop show and so is this open sale.
My advice: Go for a SG S6 it’s totally worth it.
SG S6 for what price?
31k .yes I know thats a lot of money.but it’s worth it.
iPhone 6 can be bought at this price
But then everything would be different. Ha!
imo S6 beats even the IP6S+, and of course theres the android factor.
Lol

Samsung SG6 has got lot of negative reviews than op2
1 star 24/98 ~ 25% bad reviews, but op2 a star 296/3559 = 8.3% bad reviews
Bcoz People reviewed S6 at very high price.
Also, seen people who felt proud that they got ‘invite’ and have ‘special’ phone.Friend bought OP2 and heating badly.
Samsung S6 and LG G4 are awesome near perfect devices and can’t be compared with OP2.
May be you are right but HTC one M9 has got the same hardware as oneplus 2, but it does not have overheating problem it seems, I do not know how?. As per my opinion, OP2 falls in mid range so most people (students, gamers) buy and exploit it with games so more heating issue reviews, and coming to other side HTC one M9 or SG6 are high end price devices, so mostly, employees buy these high end devices and they play games very less on phone, so, heating problem is not revealed
Why I am telling like this because, higher frequency of the processor induces high temperature as phones does not packed with heatsink or fan as desktops do, so 1.2 Ghz processors runs in normal temp range, 1.5Ghz runs in moderate temp range, and 1.8+ Ghz processors runs in above avg temp. So, if we could play games less, then there won’t be temp problem with op2
@thisis.ravi538479 dunno about the others but S6 doesn’t get unbearably hot during gaming, I’ve thrown nearly everything I know at it Nova anamoly nfsmw dead trigger it performs well. But i don’t know why but it gets hotter when I play monument valley in it. Monument valley didn’t even register as hot on my HTC M8.
I think it’s all about optimization, hope SD820 is better.
i guess we can now expect a price drop soon
