People who think Samsung galaxy S4 is a better choice in that price range by all means should go for it But please don’t feel envy when the guy standing next to you might hold a exclusive mobile( 1+1) with one of the best screens around loaded with performance and features that can even put your samsung’s Note3 to shame but hey you got a samsung with 1000 service centers in the country where half of samsung users head to format their phone due to hang issue while the guy with 1+1 is exploring cynogenmod without any bloatware like tochwiz.No pun intended.

i am waiting for MI4 to get launched in india …64 GB version will cost @ 20000 only rather than this one plus @ 25000 rs

Besides that 5 inch size is better than 5.5 inch size phone …. 5 inch is size is easy to handle

FYI i own an mi3 myself and i’m a big fan of xiaomi and having said that i still consider one plus one to have a slight edge over Mi4 due to much better screen and camera. Both Mi4 and one plus one would be exclusive compared to rest of the samsung crowd so don’t worry about the exclusivity part

Can we stop comparing apple to oranges please? Oneplus specs are similar to Mi4 and by your own logic people should buy Redmi Note instead of mi4 then? Both redmi note and 1+1 cater to different crowds altogether and they are not even in the same segment.

For the users who are stuck between oneplus one and Mi4 please watch this video. The comparison video is coming from a very talented tech reviewer who himself is a big xiaomi fan.

Given a chance i would still go for Mi4 but having said that i still consider Oneplus One to be a very potent competitor of Xiaomi Mi3,Mi4.

Mi4 and 1+1 both have 1 thing common , both are patience testers
For 1+1 you need patience to get invite and for mi4 you need to wait at least 2 months before it gets released in india and then the flash sale.

I found similar arguments when Redmi 1S was launched (in India). It was compared with Moto G by many dimers. Rest is history.

BTW, have both Moto E & Redmi 1S at home. Waiting for Mi4.

Firstly,I am a xiaomi fan.
But Comparing 1+1 with redmi note,Are you serious?

Redmi note has octacore mediatek processor while 1+1 comes with snapdragon 801.
Its like comparing a fiat car engine to a bmw.
Secondly,mi3/mi4/redmi has miui rom(most of the people prefer pure stock) while 1+1 comes with cyanogenmod with sure shot two years OS update.

Also the dev section of 1+1 is as good as nexus devices while on the other hand xiaomi has still not released its kernal source for mi3.

This is the only reason people are preferring 1+1 over xiaomi.

Devs can develop custom roms if the source code is released by the company.

Even if source code is not released,Customs roms can be made,but its similar to ported roms(lots and lots of bugs).

If you want to find out more,go to xda and search for roms available for mi3 and roms for one plus one.(original android section)

If you are into customs roms and custom kernels,go for one plus one.

Mi3 is an excellent phone without a doubt. I own one and i have recommended it to many. In international market particularly EU, US prices of Mi3/Mi4 is more than Oneplus one. Xiaomi has priced their products superbly in india and hopefully they will continue the trend with Mi4 as well.

As as a consumer we should hope more and more healthy competition from the likes of xiaomi which may force biggies like Samsung to take notice and price their products reasonably.
