Yeah. cast iron with non-stick coating. The handle is cast along the pan and I bought it hoping they the handle wouldn’t fall off/loosen like the normal tawas. Quality was alright with even coating (But not as good as Hawkins futura or Prestige tawas). It has a flat sort of grilled bottom for even heating. Totally worth 400 bucks though. Hope this helps.
