HDFC 5000 Card is activated and 4750 is credited. asked the xoxo CC they said 250 is activation charges as per RBI guidlines.

I asked about AMEX card fees they said it is already activated so no further fees on it.

Someone who bought AMEX please confirm…

How can they issue different features for same type of card. For me they have not charged a single penny. I am lucky with xoxo. Whereas in Amazon, out of my two orders, they gave false tracking number for one order and for other delivered order, i am unable to activate it as customer care denying my card number as invalid/unloaded card. My 10000/- struck with amazon. I am fearing to buy these gift cards now from any where.

Never wanted to buy HDFC one. Two of my friends have HDFC CC.

Ask them why they haven’t mentioned in t and c ?? After buying these cards they are saying pay 250 rs tommorw they can say 1000 rs ….further I personally Dont think any rbi guidelines are their it is all bank specific….for for HDFC activation charges is 100 rs.

Yes. I took screenshots of their t&c too couple of days ago. No mention of any activation charges in their t&c in those pics. Seems like they are making up the fees and simply transferring the amount to their own account using the customer bought card so they can close the loop where one can buy the cards at almost 10-18% discount (using current payumoney or previous mobi promos) and use the same card to buy stuff again from giftxoxo.

I don’t quite blame them for it. But this is why I consider them amateurs. Just follow the lead of established players like amazon and disallow the purchase of bank cards with xoxo vouchers. There’s a reason why amazon only allows credit card transactions to buy gift vouchers & bank cards and keeps them off the table when there’s a discount offer going on like the current sbi cashback scheme.

They did the exact opposite. Accepted only voucher payments and not credit/debit card. Idiots! And now making us suffer

They are not activating my card since past 10 days ,even have posted this on their FB Wall, same standard reply activation in progress from premjit das since past 10 days I just can’t believe it.
Any one has founder email Id of manoj Agrawal to escalate the same .pl advise.

Mine not even shipped till now. I am going to cancel it.

Let us all bombard their FB wall with complaints regarding the cheating they have done!

My HDFC card was yet to get activated even after placing request a week back. I called their CC and they told they will activate the gift card 2mrw. When I enquired about the gift card they said as you placed the order online on website you won’t be charged anything. The activation fee is only for those who placed order through phone. Don’t know how much true is this bcoz the CC guys doesn’t have full information
