Congrats. Just strange how they are charging anywhere between 0-10% extra for the cards.

Best case scenario, one crooked employee on their team is trying to loot buyers by using their cards for 250-500 rs for personal use in name of activation charges. Why else would people get charged randomly?

The only possible “why else” is the worst case scenario. Gift xoxo owners themselves are crooked and want to lure buyers into buying their xoxo vouchers by giving some users the full amount and when others purchase the vouchers to buy the bank cards, they can force them to either pay extra or buy some other shopping vouchers which are quite a bit more profitable for xoxo to sell compared to a bank cash card. Bait and switch.

In either case, I’d stay away from xoxo vouchers from now on. Buying bank cards have already been proven to be a gamble at best. Using xoxo vouchers to buy other vouchers (like amazon snapdeal etc) results in huge delay in delivery wuth the vouchers taking days to deliver compared to direct payment where you recieve the vouchers almost instantly. And I won’t trust them with my money for too long. They still act a bit too unprofessional to trust them with my money for more than a few days at best. If that means I miss out on some discounts or deals then so be it.

Sorry, I missed your tag notification because one juvenile cretin chose to misuse the “like notifications” feature to intentionally flood and roll over my notifications. As for your question, I guess you have already gotten a good answer from @dealsnatcher. Another use would be to load money to the Mobikwik wallet whenever the 10% cashback offer comes and then buy the Amex card.
