Copy it to your phone memory
Now go to update menu on your phone.
Inside update menu, select update package, browse and find RedMiNote_rootonly_rel
Select it and hit update.
Phone will restart after the update.
Now open Security app→select permission→check root tab. DONE!

Ordered 2 for fellow dimers and I see that 1 of them even got delivered today in Delhi and other shows it is out for delivery in Bangalore.

It’s just a matter of time before this gets resolved. Ericsson might get some royalty from Xiaomi as it is regarding a standard essential patent.
Any standard essential patent must be open for usage for others at a decent royalty. No company can restrict usage of any standard essential patent allotted to it.

my friend order got delivered today. but it has one problem. its not charging from adapter as well as data cable. he did return request.
MINE DIDN’T SHIP TODAY BUT I GOT MSG. THAT IT DELIVER TODAY.
