The availability of the offer is based on the following criteria
1. Offer is valid to all credit card holders in this period.
2. Transactions through wallets using credit card are not eligible for the offer. E.g. PAYTM
3. The offer will be valid for transaction made from mobile app and web portal of the respective utility vendors.
4. The transaction may be feasible on the app or portal as per the payment gateways.
5. The cash back will be credited to card statement in the subsequent billing cycle.

1. How to get this card?
The card is available to only existing Saraswat customers with a FD / Savings Account and has a completely offline application process. The bank has branches only in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
2. Why to get this card?
There is no good reason besides this offer. The reward rate is 0.25%, the reward points expire within a year and you need over 1100 pts to redeem (and there's a convenience fee for that too). In short, your points are as good as junk.
3. Is the card LTF?
The secured version (i.e. backed by an FD) is LTF. The unsecured version has an annual spend based waiver of Rs 10k otherwise you'll be charged Rs 500 + GST.

I have been utilizing the offer for over a year now and the cashback has posted within 20-40 days without fail.
There tends to be a small surcharge (1%) from the utility provider in some cases.
To get the maximum benefit the payment should be Rs 1250. Anything above that and the percentage savings go below 20%. Anything under that and you are letting go off the Rs 250 threshold since it works only for the first utility bill payment of the month.
On a related note, Google Pay is showing Saraswat Bank Credit Card under Link RuPay Credit Card on UPI but the integration is still a work in progress with Saraswat probably not having loaded the phone numbers and card numbers as yet from their end. No other UPI app shows Saraswat as an option.

The cashback has now been reduced to Rs 100, down from Rs 250. I am unable to edit the title or the original post.
Saraswat Bank has sneakily updated the offer to 20% upto a maximum of Rs 100 a month, down from Rs 250 a month as was the case the last 2 years. So, now, a bill payment of Rs 500 is the ideal amount to use this card for.

OH MY GAWD this also got devalued 😱💩😥 Yes got just ₹100 in May. Time to close this card and get a dozen more RuPay Platinum DEBIT cards. Revenge by @some1anywhere 😂
