Bro dont worry its really worth this much money..I would say it even worth more than 1K..A friend of mine ordered for me last month, when FK clearance sale started…Its an awesome earphone…But dont forget to burn these earphones for atleast 50hrs before judging them (same goes for all the earphones)…If you go through my previous posts in various earphones related threads, I always recommend dimers to go for this skullcandy full metal jacket earphones
…But no one seems to care.Main reason is that there are a lot of fake FMJ earphones out there….Yet I got it for Rs. 140 (540-400), during one of the ebay wtf sale….It was original and man it was my favourite earphones for a very long time, until I got the titans …You could say titans and FMJ are brothers….Titan is better in bass and clarity (only marginal) , but fmj got its build quality…Titan’s wires are thin and should be handled with care…But fmj got slight edge in cable quality…

I know there are a lot of skullcandy haters out there….There are a lot of fake skullcandies in India….So there is a chance of you ended up with a fake one….Either way I dont like their ink’d 2 earphones…Bleehh…

Of all the earphones I’ve used, there are only two earphones that did this inside my ear….Its titan and fmj….For high bass sounds at high volume, you can feel them vibrating inside the ears…

@ sence +6 great review and since you have personally used them and compared against other good IEM then no doubt these must be great.. generally at the same price skullcandy are considered crap against other VFM Iem but they are much more popular but since dimers got it for very less so its a good deal .. but i am confused you are rating philips 3570 earphones higher than Es18 ? that’s quite a shocker especially the es18 develops more bass after burning in

I know…I am surprised too..But my es18 is not giving descent bass compared to 3570 from philips..I kinda have doubts regarding its genuineness….I bought it 2 years back from pepperfry….Packaging seems original…Got a lot of stickers to prove that its imported by authorised seller…Also the accessories came with it also looks exactly the same as in the other video reviews…Good quality carry bag and all…..I think, last year, there were couple of dimers agreed with my views….BTW 3570 died last year

i never faced anything like that ..

Skull Candy’s ranging like 60$ gets bad score than some generic 20$ ones!

Best bang-for-the-buck IEM I’ve ever tried is Sony MH1C, though it broke after serving 2 awesome years of eargasm. They used to be like 20-25$ open packs, now ebay.in has no stock and can’t trust ebay.com to deliver it promptly..

Still when it comes to 599 its an alright deal, but look at the other factors. Its made of plastic not metal and they doesn’t last long with tendency to break more often. With MRP around 3.5k (40$) it is expected of metallic build. Moreover,this particular model is Discontinued by Manufacturer, I’ve saw Skullcandy not fulfilling warranty on discontinued products and a pretty old model ( Date first available at Amazon.com: February 1, 2012). And no one reviewed this model on head-fi(pretty much every good IEM gets reviewed at Head-fi), so I don’t feel this as a worthy buy even at 599. This is my views as an Audiophile though for normal people it maybe just good enough!

great post +6 the best bang for the buck in low price range goes to monoprice 8320 but sadly they aren’t available here.. i just ordered it now i am thinking of cancelling it after reading the part where you say warranty not honored by skullcandy for older models.. and skullcandy is infamous for dying too early.. i already have es18 working good and was looking for an upgrade in this range but there are hardly any options that offer a good upgrade over es18 under 1k

I’m not entirely sure. Its a risk to take, but maybe for the price its alright. Just use them with care and would be alright. Also, I don’t see any warranty mentioning in the FK listing so was a bit suspicious
