I’m not a class teacher. I’m just expressing my fears here. All of us know they have to somehow balance these losses. And we even know how they are going to do that. In the long run, it will affect us all (including the genuine buyers). And I know perfectly well that nobody here will lend ears to that. Let them carry on.
I do understand your fears. I’m also one of the genuine buyers with tons of orders from Flipkart . Flipkart is giving compensation because they did feel what they did was not right. DD is very big community and getting their name tarnished over here will bring them more losses to flipkart in the long run than the amount of money they are giving out in compensation now.

totally agree with you bro,… Just ignore him.. dimers are smart enough to understand whats going on.. or you can just check the likes that you got for your comments & likes for his comments.. let him shout!! he might have missed it OR didn’t got refund, so he got frustrated with those words..

Actually NO… when more orders are placed (if not very costly item), the chance of getting one (or some compensation) increases…
An e-retailer can risk to dissatisfy 1-2 customers just by cancelling these orders by blurting some nonsense reason(s). But they won’t risk their reputation by cancelling mass orders.
I hope everybody who ordered single piece, got compensation.

If you have called them, you made a big mistake. Write to them or wait, you will get your compensation.

Flipkart had to acquire so many PDs. It was easier for their CC to give promotional balance which is generally kept aside for promotion & all.

You have raised a few valid points.
Flipkart sometimes fudge MRP of products which is a punishable offence.
In my email, I wrote your point that cancellation without prior intimation is not acceptable.
But I am not the one who will buy the stone-episode. Flipkart is not that evil. It’s either the delivery people or the buyer himself who tried to play tricks with Flipkart.

How do you say that I misused that offer? Used different mobile numbers and email ids everytime. Did not go beyond 5/6 accounts. It was all well within their T&Cs, if I’m not wrong. How is this misusing their offer?
In all my years of online shopping, I have never cried for compensation after cancellation of a “price error” order.
Does your “justification” include a wallet money of Rs.250 too?

If you think that your mindless looting is justified, my counter-point will be – Is it written anywhere by Flipkart in any T&C that they will mislead the customers & won’t compensate for their fault?
As I didn’t ask Flipkart for any compensation, I consider that token money as a goodwill gesture. The same gesture which they made while sending 400 off on 1600 to those looted Payzippy accounts of yours.
Viveka..best thing you can do is to sit on gallery and watch us play! after that come here and talk about moral, ethics etc.
No goodwill gesture shown on my account . No mail/wallet cash. Had placed a single order only from one account .
I got 500 on one flipkart first account and my brother got 250 rupees on his account.

Bro, we can keep moving based on assumptions and we will not reach anywhere… Now how do you know that I got 400 off 1600 on payzippy accounts? I never got them. Perhaps it was for those who made new FK accounts along with payzippy accounts. I’m not sure. Just guessing because I did not get it in any of my 5 payzippy accounts. (I’ve only one FK account, FYI.)
