Hey, Before 2 months i got one msg that ur FD will be matured on DD-MM-2015 . I 
that i havnt did any FD In that bank a/c , then again i got msg on that date.. so i called to bank and told that i just got msg about this then they told me that u made FD for 5 years which is done now and u can collect it.. i said ok.. but i havnt done any FD… i thought that might be done wronlgy so i waited almost 2 months..
today i again called and asked about it nd still its in my ac only…
now what to do next.. i dnt hv any idea.. 
Can any1 suggets…

@BliNdThOkO_10 my best advice as a banker would be, wait for one more month, may be the original FD holder come to redeem it, as they may not know that they have done FD in wrong account… Moreover 2 Lakhs is not a small amount, and it was before 5 years so, that’s there income… May be it is the FD holder’s only income, may be it is for some special event or purpose…
Don’t redeem or reveal truth to bank manager as they also don’t know about the correct owner..
Just leave this to time, wait wait and wait…

If it was not fraud then I guess when making FD, they linked to wrong a/c by misplacing 1 digit.
keeping it wont make sense cause if you claim, it is criminal fraud. still you want to claim then collect cheque and donate.
or
tell branch manager it is not ur FD (by proof like mail, letter etc).
