if rules like no selling are there, then why topics of ‘give me karma and get code/recharge’ are encouraged.

no personal interest. because I do not care what tricks go on in on-line trading. Just my thoughts on how partial implementation or case to case decisions suck.

First of all stop being a cry baby and blaming me for this step. Obviously i am not such a big celebrity here that my suggestion would lead to something. I have never suffered any loss because of fraud but it was just coz i see many dimers suffering here. If you any issues with any rule talk directly to admin. May be if you would have incurred any loss then this might sound bit more helpful to you.

i just proposed a simple method, A gives to B, and B gives C and visa versa, where B is the authorised trusted dimer… but things took a complex turn

I am sure escrow accounts work well.
But like i also said, for that to work:
either it has to be mandated compulsory (by law)
OR
based on mutual trust.

Both those factors missing in Desidime :-/ #okavango raj (or jungle raj)

I am not against trading if it’s mutually beneficial for both the parties and DD is a fine medium to exchange/ barter.

But some people consider DD as marketplace only (rather fish-market) and their existence is solely based on this activity.

Well I think there can not be a particular set of rules as far as trade on Desidime is concerned. As always I would again like to bring it to the notice of the Dimers here that in most of the cases only those users get cheated who are in hurry and don’t take any precaution with regards to the credibility of the next person. Yes one suggestion is pretty good that there should be a particular level of the user when he becomes eligible for trading like Deal Subedar and above. It would certainly stop a lot of issues but I don’t know how it can be implemented.
I would like the admin team to rethink about the same instead of banning it completely.

I partially agree with you my fren. Its like only allowing sehwag to open the batting and not allowing rayadu to bat before 5 wickets are down. Noone knows who will succeed particular day and who will fail. It will b kind of gurukul that seniors have luxury to exchange notes and juniors have to study all by themselves.

But i do agree rather than banning there should be more refined method of trading, and lets help mods with some good ideas.

The rules are not fixed & they are evolving with time. Earlier members were banned for using the slightest of slang. Nowadays so many things are being tolerated. May be DD admin team are maturing with better level of tolerance or they are indifferent to these stuffs nowadays.

When I was a newbie in DD, it took me 2 days (at least) to figure out all the forums & read the rules.

I agree but atleast exchanging paytm cash for mobikwik cash, trading extra coupons for cash or even selling paytm cash for money can take place smoothly widout any hiccups if there is so mediater in between. A trust factor will increase the trades in DD i assume.

I think a lot of people have already expressed their views on the subject – mostly in favor of keeping the coupon trading with certain rules. If you want more opinions, may I suggest you to please create a sticky thread and ask for votes regarding this?

I, like many others, would just like a clear mandate on this topic.
