As per Daikin's website the charges is Rs.699 + GST. But I have come across a recent experience of my friend's friend that they charges Rs.1500 + GST (in the month of April only) citing Amazon or Flipkart mentioned installation charges.

I have bought the AC from Croma(yet to be delivered) and they also have mentioned generic Rs.1499 + GST.

Anyone has any recent experience with Daikin ? Any tips to convince them to follow what they have mentioned in their website ?

Or for worst case scenario like they pressurize either do it at Rs.1500 or do yourself - where and how to escalate ?

First, get it installed, don't discuss the charges initially.

In last let them know that the official website shows Rs 699 and asks to give a proper GST bill with the dealer/firm name (better to give your GST number (if available) as well to claim GST back and to check the genuineness of the bill), I installed it last year, and it cost around Rs 825.

Note: If they are charging more, and you have a proper bill, you can file a case and get huge compensation and get their license canceled as well.

Everything that was needed for the split AC indoor and outdoor was given by them only, with no extra charges

but I am not sure 100%, they might have charged for something that I don't remember now.

In the last, I will say, that you have already spent a lot of money on AC, so don't lose any sleep over some minor charges, just get a proper GST bill from them for any major spending and that should be fine.

Anyone in a proper state of mind will think twice before giving a fake GST bill.

I don't have GST.

I can ask them. Most of them are from vendors. What would be the problem for them to produce a bill from "XYZ Cooling Center" of Rs.1500 (+GST) as Daikin could have very little control over them ?

Installation cost may vary for the AC purchased online and offline.

4 core wire is their responsibility to provide with the product, even of you need extra copper pipes

, the price of the extension will be including that copper pipes, jacket, wire, tap, etc.

Last year I purchased one from the Flipkart, they charged 699 only. Nothing extra. Even when FK was showing 1500+GST.

Nobody charges 699 for split AC installation. It must be double for indoor and outdoor units.

However if the published price is 699 for both units of split AC, then they might have adjusted the balance gap by excluding certain essential pipes and cables from the definition of "standard installation".

I had Daikin AC installed on 2022. They charged Rs.699 + Tax.

No extra apart from some drain pipe, outdoor unit holder etc.

I have purchased Daikin AC from Flipkart in March

Installation cost was 1750/- was done my Daikin authorized dealers

699+GST offer only if purchased from select authorised physical stores and mydaikinstore com only.

4 core cable(3m), Copper tubes from indoor to outdoor are provided, No manual or batteries for remote.

Purchase 3core 2.5sqmm cable 3m - 5m depending on your requirement from Outdoor unit to Power supply.

Ac stand bracket, 16A plug, drain pipe, wrapping tape purchase from local store or the installation guy will charge overpriced rates

Daikin standard installation document says if you purchase bracket from outside you have to pay Rs.250 extra as installation. In that case it won't be that much beneficial. Only if Daikin provides flimsy brackets then it could be an issue.

Drain pipe, wrapping tape, 16A plug I would buy from outside.

@flash007 - from where did you buy those acs ? Daikin official website?

As I mentioned I got it installed at 699 + GST at my hometown on 2022 and I bought it from Amazon. But the vendor and installation guys were very cool.

No it's yet to be installed though delivered. The installation team they are in rush as it's peak time.

I bought it from Croma at ₹41699. I have got Rs.750 + Rs. 250 promotional neu coins. And I would get around ₹2000 more neu coins through HDFC Tata Neu Card.

So effectively at 38700 provided I use tata neu a lot.
