Yes it definitely is discourteous to converse in local language when u are in a group but then i was more talking about a one-on-one chit-chat (quoting the intended fellow) which doesn’t have implications for wider crowd..Yes I agree in a Forum even that might make others wonder whats its all about.

Being Formal (and boring) seems better atleast in a particular section

This is why I use the desktop version of the site on my desktop so I can use all of the documented (and undocumented) features with minimal effort.
